Prayers for you and your family today, Moe. I have a nasty cold right now and am offering up my misery for you. May God comfort you and shower you with His love today. :gopray:
**I am starting to get a nasty cold - so we can be miserable together 😦

Thanks masondoggy … praying you are doing better … thanks for remembering us … God blessing to you and your family!**

**Love that quote - thank you and perhaps one day == we shall meet …

oxoxo**
I thought of you so many times today and said a prayer for all of you each and every
time.I hope you felt the peace that I felt, somehow, in all the pain, there is some joy too.

Sometimes I think of it this way…the goal is to get our children to heaven, and I think we both accomplished this somehow, not our doing of course, but, God took them at the best time for them to be with Him eternally.

The rest of us still have some work to do and I think you’re right, they were just so good and perfect and so ready to be with Him.

I believe their guardian angels comforted them and that they were not alone or afraid.

Continued prayers for you and thank you for being such an inspiration, it really touches me that you were so concerned for her friends who were sobbing at Mass, you do sound so much like you describe her, thinking of others first.

One last thing, every time I hold my newest grandson, I will say a prayer for your family.
I will also remember your intensions while praying the Rosary, at Mass and at Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. God bless you!

Moe, Still praying for you and your family … hoping each day will bring you a little more peace. May God be always with you.

Love & Hugs,
Judi

When Tomorrow Never Comes (By Maureen Geisinger, Forever McKayla’s Mom)

Hi:

I just wanted you all to know that I am in the process of writing a book about the day to day survival of facing the reality of suddenly and unexpectedly losing your child. My book, titled When Tomorrow Never Comes, is about Our McKayla.

I am so excited about this endeavor. The forward was written by, not only one of my wonderful sister’s, but one of my best friends, Colleen Riley Winn. One of my favorite quotes on sisters is by Carol Saline - Sisters function as safety nets in a chaotic world simply by being there for each other. My sisters have loved me unconditionally … especially during these last two + years, when I have had absolutely nothing to give anyone, let alone me. They have just loved me …

My sister’s have definitely been my safety net, but you have been as well … in one way or another.

When Tomorrow Never Comes is an exciting project for me! It has been amazingly therapeutic … it is emotionally, spiritually, physically and mentally exhausting. I have been working diligently on the draft … how I want it to flow … what I want it to say … how I want it to impact anyone that is reading it. Everyday I have asked God - what is it that you want me to do with this Cross, this unbearable pain. I am not sure if this is His answer, but I am feeling confident that it will help many people. Be it a newly bereaved Mom or Dad or sibling, or if it is a friend that is desperate to know what is the right thing to do or say during the most unbearable time in their friend’s life.

When McKayla first passed away, I read and read and read to try and make sense of what was happening to us. How I could put into words the deep pain and sadness that engulfed me, my family … McKayla’s friends … how to describe or should I even begin to describe what the pain was like that we faced day to day, hour by hour, minute by minute.

I didn’t find one book that would satisfy my longing. Words that I needed to say when someone came up to me and said how are you? Or if I met them in the supermarket and was asked … are you better yet? … or even worse have you moved on? You seem so much better …

During these past 27+ months, I have received thousands of emails … emails that lifted my spirits, even if it was for a moment of two. Emails from friends, family, strangers, from other mom’s who have lost their child or even worse, their children …that gave me hope … gave me a light during this darkest of days. Words that helped soothe my soul … like salve on a wound. I knew in my heart that I had to share this experience with everyone who was interested.

Please visit McKayla’s site and read the forward from my sister Coe…

virtual-memorials.com/main.php?action=view&mem_id=8668&page_no=2

It will give you a sneak preview of what is to come.

You all have had a piece in our healing … we have a long way to go as we continue to heal … one breath at a time, until ….

I ask for continued prayers!

“We” will See “Her” Again and 'Our" Hearts Will Be Filled With Joy! John 16:22

We’re always praying for you, Moe (and fam!). I think your book sounds awesome and I think my mom would really appreciate reading it. Love, hugs, and prayers!

Moe, it’s so nice to “hear” from you again. I was just thinking about you the other day…in fact, I was telling my mom about you (she made an off-the-wall comment about how a parent would ever get over losing a child) and I told her it almost felt like I went through the journey with you in a way by reading this thread. I will truly look forward to reading your book! It really sounds like it will be very therapeutic and healing for you! I’m sure that it will help “somebody” out there someday that finds themselves in the same horrific boat.

Hi Moe,
So good to hear from you, like others have said you are always on my mind and I always pray for you all at Mass,
The book sounds so wonderful and I cannot wait to read it, I am sure it will be a great solace to others who may have to go through the same terrible pain.

Moe, it’s been a while since I have visited this thread. How wonderful that you are writing a book to help those who are grieving. A book borne out of your own sorrow. That is beautiful, Moe & I look forward to reading it. Still remembering you in prayer. God Bless.

Thank you … hugs hugs and more hugs.

Starting up - back to school, holidays, my KK’s birthday … sometimes too much to think about bearing … so I will be selfish and continue to pray for us.:bighanky:

Hugs from NH!

**Hi my friend — I have missed our chats.

I will never get over the feeling of great loss and sadness over losing my McKayla … the pain is still so great and the loss so paralyzing at times.

Our third school year without her - she would have been 16 on Dec 20 - I still take one breath at a time. Like CSLewis said … Her absence is like the sky - spread over everything … there is not one minute of one day that I don’t think of her … I ache still for my baby girl.

The book is for my KK … I don’t want ANYONE to ever forget her.

How are you doing my friend … hugs and prayers xoxo**

**Hi my friend - me too - too long. I have to admit I am really mad at God … I have even stopped going to church for a couple of months … although I am back … I am still not the same in my faith as I was …

I feel lost … I feel so lost and am so mad at God for taking her … I hope I can recover …b ut I am not sure …

thanks too for the continued prayers …

I shall autograph my book for anyone who wants one - it will be on me - the book that is 🙂 Love you all!**

Moe, I am glad to see you today. I think about you EVERY single day. I really do…you and your daughter, on my mind when I pray. I can’t offer you anything right now, except my prayers, and if you ever need to talk. God bless. :hug1:
