How do I know? I have been praying that she will come to me in my dreams … but I haven’t seen her. I know what our faith teaches, but I just wish I could have some confirmation that she is fine.
The pain is unbearable at times.
A Priest said this to an old woman (87) who couldn’t get over the death of her daughter, **" ask her to let you go " **
The woman said this helped her a lot, I will never be able to understand your pain, it has to be unbearable, a very heavy cross for you to bear.
I pray to my dead sister Carmel, she died at 3 months, I never knew her because I was next in line to be born.
But I know she is among the Holy Innocents of Heaven, I hope and shall pray for you that God may grant you consolation in your great loss.
Every year my mother would remember her birthday, and oh yes the tears as well, It was hard to watch my mother cry, and then she’d describe her lovely black hair, it was heartbreaking.
I suppose in some weird way I was some consolation to her loss as I was the next born, I’ve only started recently to think about that.
But there is no easy way to grieve, everybody has their own way to deal with it.
For me it’s my faith and my hope in a better world beyond the veil, where every tear will be wiped away and there will be no more death, and no more sorrow.
And may God Bless you with consolation this day.
