Since when has the FBI limited background checks to charges filed? :roll_eyes:

The FBI should investigate the findings of the Bethesda authorities, based on a reported crime.
 
Anita hill as a resource. Dems never give up on their smears or their bigotry. With Thomas it was keeping that “uppity N…” down. Now it’s keeping “Papists” out of the Supreme Court.

My stars! The DNC heierarchy ought to be wearing hoods and burning crosses if they want to be honest about their proclivities! .

That is an interesting opinion, but one that is not aligned with practice of FBI background checks.

Yes. Loyalty to a source means something to her. It is not unlike the seal of the confessional.
 
True. And if they postpone the hearing, the Dems will come up with one bogus claim after another until (they hope) they have a majority in the Senate so no potentially prolife candidates can be appointed.

This investigation demand is only the first of many ploys the Dems intend to use.

Not true. This is a mere accusation in the media. There has been no legal charges filed. The FBI does not investigate crimes not of a federal nature.
Ford’s lawyer doesn’t want her to provide evidence. Even if there was a charge filed, without her priding evidence, there is nothing to investigate.

Call it genetic fallacy if you want. But at some point one simply has to recognize that some sources are biased and distort things.

I did listen to Hill at the time. I thought it was a disgrace then, and I do now. Thomas was spot on when he called it a “high tech lynching” of a black man who had the audacity to aspire above his station.

Same thing with Feinstein and the Dems and their media. “Oh oh, he’s a Catholic. He might be prolife. Do everything to delay and browbeat those who might support him.”

Disgusting. One is reminded of “Oh, don’t vote for Kennedy, if he’s elected, the Pope will be over here running the country.” Same old anti-Catholic bigotry. But it is in service of the Dem religion, which is abortion on demand, including the partial birth abortion the Dems on the Supreme Court ALL supported as a “constitutional right”.

No Catholic should ever vote for a Democrat again until it purges itself of its bloodlust and its bigotry.
 
If, indeed, Ford has received death threats, then perhaps the FBI or some law enforcement agency should investigate. But that shouldn’t hold up the confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh because death threats issued by perps, if any, have nothing to do with his fitness for office.

This is not something I want, but it is what it is.
Rather than offering a logical response to the points raised by Hill, you dismiss them for because of preconceived notions about the source. Sad.

And do you actually go on to another of your FAKE quotes? Sadder still.

There is no alleged attack. There is only media reports. They are not allegations. She should file a police report. Until then,the FBI should do exactly what they said they would do numerous times.

Perhaps. I suppose that witnesses are asked to testify under threat in many cases. But the investigation of the the new information as part of the background check should.
