Could it be because it is Illinois? What is the murder rate their now? Free abortions now? Not good.

Yeah, maybe when Governor Rauner runs for President, he’ll turn prolife so he’ll get the evangelical vote. Like Reagan.

I doubt if it’s only Illinois.

At least, now, out of a country of 300 million, you can point to Governor Rauner and say, “shame, look at the Republicans” instead of finding things from 50 years ago. Odd, that one does not mention that is a Democratic bill and was voted on down party lines I read. Sure, let’s be selective with information.

You are right, we should not rush to judgment. You might tell that to the numerous senators who have declared the judge guilty without hearing either he or the accuser speak. If she turns out not to be credible, where does the judge go to get his reputation back?

JonNC:
By what authority do you make this claim? You have no such authority.
Simple matter of fact. The same authority that I hold that if a=b, then b=a.
Yours?..

Fair point but that wasn’t mentioned in the primary by his fellow Republicans to my knowledge. He was entirely blamed for it. In fact one of the local candidates came to my front door to inform me and have me sign a petition.

The Dems are antinCatholic,Christian, life and everything that we as Americans valie and hold dear.To defend them and even identify with them in the slightest way ,as a Carholic is very very concerning
I understand how you feel, but saying “The Dems” is a broad brush.
The establishment Republicans often stand for things I disagree with, some I find egregious , but I still identify as a Republican because there is no other viable alternative. The Green Party is simply watermelons: green on the outside and red on the inside, and the Libertarians sold out to the progressives with Johnson and particularly Weld.
I feel sympathy for true liberals. They’re stuck with the leftist progressives

I agree that there is a difference between liberals and leftist.I also agree that not all Dems are as whatvIndecribed, however the powers that be within the party are pretty much that and more

You’re right about the Libertarian Party. They lost their appeal when Ron Paul left and Harry Browne died.

The number of catholics who vote for the Dem abortion party is dropping as people begin to realize the party is nothing in the world but an abortion party.

What fraction of Catholic voters voter strictly for non-Democratic candidates?
