Anger’s a defense mechanism and usually shows guilt, though I do not believe Ford. I don’t even think she’s mistaken; I think she outright lied. But I still don’t like Kavanaugh.
I could accept Kavanaugh’s anger if it had been spontaneous, but you keep forgetting that he WROTE his angry words AWAY from the hearing room, then READ them. Presumably, they were REASONED. They were not WELL REASONED. They showed excessive partisanship, which is not good in any judge. Of course, they are all going to be somewhat partisan, but Kavanaugh showed excessive partisanship. I have doubts about his ability to be impartial. I can just imagine the indignation and condemnation you’d feel if a liberal acted as Kavanaugh. You’re not convincing anyone. You’re just giving him a pass because you like his politics.
And please, speak for yourself only. I have been unjustly accused of worse things than Kavanaugh, and I did NOT react with anger. This is just one of Kavanaugh’s crosses to bear, and he should bear it with dignity, a dignity I have yet to see in him. Hopefully he’ll be more impartial when he votes.
