Target releases gay "marriage" ad

I used to like target over walmart. Oh well. Costco and Sam’s Club are available as well.

Lol…Costco is very liberal (founder just hosted big fundraiser for Obama in Seattle) and Sam’s Club is Walmart (Sam…as in Sam Walton…founder of Walmart).

Give evidence showing that Costco supports abortion and gay marriage. I am aware that walmart and Sam’s Club are under the same apparatus, but they are different stores…got something to prove, tough guy?
 
It is different when an owner of a company airs their personal view on marriage and when the company actively promotes gay marriage. Target is making a big mistake becoming political
 
I will be boycotting Target until they change their position to at least that of a morally neutral position. Also, if they donate to any pro-gay-activist charities then I will continue my boycott until they cease such donations.

Throughout history in many areas, marriage was between a man and more than one woman: see David, Solomon, Islam and others.

Throughout history in many areas marriage was restricted to within the same race/tribe/caste. See Nehemiah 13:25.

There have been many different versions of marriage in different places and at different times. It is a mistake to think of marriage as a single entity. It is many different entities, all given the same name.

I know that the loss of my custom won’t affect any bottom lines, nor will the loss of business from the usual posters here on the Forum stun Target or any other store. I, therefore, shop at stores that carry what I want at prices I’m willing to pay. That sums it up for me. Others can boycott or support those stores as they like.🤷

What? Why do I need to “give evidence” for a claim I didn’t make? And, how does the fact that Walmart and Sam’s are “different stores” have any bearing on the politics of their owners? I have absolutely nothing to prove, but feel free to shop or not shop where you desire. I don’t do boycotts, generally.

Pretty much. If you want to boycott, I support you. If you don’t, that’s your choice too.

I don’t shop there either way, but I can pray for sure.

If you agree with Target, then we have problems.
 
Is Safeway, Albertson’s, Whole Foods, KFC, JCPenny, McDonalds, Starbucks, Apple to , Levis, and Google on the boycott list?

Ahhh…That 'splains it. My very liberal SIL joined Cotco “because Sam’s Club, well, you know…” Never finished her sentence. I belong to Sam’s Club, paid for by my company. 👍

But the Catholic Church does have big issues with the promotion of Asian or African women. Promotion to the priesthood. Promotion to Bishop. Promotion to Cardinal.

I will agree that the promotion of Asian men does not seem to be a problem.

But what about principles? Why pick and choose?

As I’ve stated more than once…the boycotts called for ususally entail as long as it’s inot too incovienient…I will boycott Chick-Fill-A…never have I eaten there…nor is there one in my location…but I should get credit for boycotting…shouldn’t I?🙂

Not picking on you friend…just wanted to thank you for making a point…most boycotts fail when it becomes inconvienient…but we “feel good” about it when we “jump on the bandwagon”…“we” just don’t tell anyone when we “fall off the wagon” however.
