**You have given all mis-information about our prophet. But you did not reply about Joseph the carpentar. Nor did you inform about the unclean bottom christians praying in the churches.

Your last sentence is not understood.

Christians do not need a law from YHWH to keep ourselves clean. That is basic hygiene, understood by humankind for all ages and dependent on the facilities available. Your comment is absurd and irrelevant. We are expected to dress appropriately, and it is assumed we will be clean. However, there are no religious nazi’s running around sniffing bottoms and underarms, and judging people’s dress to throw ridiculous charges at them and have them punished.

I will add here that if someone comes from work which has made them dirty, as they were unable to go home and wash themselves, YHWH would understand and it is not for us to judge them. It makes no difference to our worship, cleanliness doesn’t enhance it, being clean is respectful (and courteous to the others 🙂 ) . What of people who are in circumstances where they are physically deprived of being able to clean themselves? Do you think YHWH says - nope, not listening, you’re dirty?

Your comment on Joseph, it again was absurd. YHWH chose when to reveal himself, not Joseph.

.
Everything that has been said about your prophet has been quoted from your own scriptures! It’s not our fault if you fail to see the “real” Muhammad as portrayed in them.

Basic hygiene habits have nothing to do with religion! That is the cult mentality. Cults completely take over a person’s mind and body. Muslims worry much about having a clean “outside” but should do so instead about all the hatred against others in the Quran and preached in the mosques and instilled in their hearts! Do you actually believe that God is pleased with prayers such as “Death to America” “Death to Israel” ?

“Clean the inside of the cup so the outside will be clean”.

“You are like whited sepulchers, very pretty on the outside and filled with dead men’s bones and filth on the inside”

Planten,

If a homeless person, man/woman entered into our church to pray with their dirty clothes because they live in the streets and cannot shower, we do not discrimenate against then and neither does God!

We are all His children.

We would never deny a dirty homeless person from entering our churches to worship or listen to the service.

Excellent! 👍

How do we violate them?
Sorry it took me so long to reply, but have been busy…
Ill gladly go through each one.
  1. I am the LORD your God:
    you shall not have
    strange Gods before me.
You pray to a big black rock, which is considered idol worshipping.
  2. You shall not take
the name of the LORD your God in vain.
this is one i agree that you dont break, i have not seen any evidence of you guys breaking this, however, some humans do use God’s name in vain.
  3. Remember to keep holy the LORD’S Day.
You make it Friday, we make it Sunday…
  4. Honor your father and your mother.
Yes, this one i agree you guys keep
  5. You shall not kill.
Oh goodness, where do i start with this!
Lets start with suicide bombers shall we?
  6. You shall not commit adultery.
*You can have sex outside of marriage with slave girls.
  7. You shall not steal.
During times of war, you are allowed to steal
  8. You shall not bear false witness
    against your neighbor.
you are allowed to lie on 3 occasions.
  9. You shall not covet
    your neighbor’s wife.
Muhammad fancied someone elses wife, and took her.
  10. You shall not covet
    your neighbor’s goods.
    again, taking things during war.

Planten,

To add to my above reply, I would like to add the following regarding of the smelly dirty homeless humans which might enter our church for service and you know what, even if they were non-believers and just came in for the heat since it’s winter here.

All this is fine!

In most parishes, after church service some churches serve, (free) coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cake, cookies and all sorts of sweets. And we all serve the homeless when they come in!

Some of our areas even serve a full lunch free from the “ladies of the church”… after church service and all are welcomed, even the smelly dirty, “unclean bottom christians” as you called them.

We open our arms to all and that includes the homeless with their raggity clothes and their unwashed faces/hands and bodies.

Christ did not turn away the lepers like the rest of the people of the lands did that time. He went to them!

Christ did not turn away from the horribly ill souls like the rest of the people of did that time. He went to them!

👍 Is all I can give my Jesus Christ - and I follow Him! 🙂

Planten pray in a mosque, brother. Not a church building.

Please be kind. There is no mention of Jesus in that number One Command. I say Jay53 has said the most correct thing about the three (I would say only two ) religions who follow that number One Command.
That is my exact point, there is mention of Jesus in Number 1 as Jesus IS God.

Time and time again I have to say this in a Catholic forum, Catholics believe Jesus IS God.

Muslims break the Second Commandment in this way:

They say God’s Name is Allah. Not the Arabic translation for ‘God’ either; it’s always Allah no matter what language they’re writing in.

Muslims break the Fourth Commandment in this way:

They dishonor Jesus by putting words in His mouth and they dishonor His Church by claiming she corrupted the Scriptures. Jesus is Father Forever and the Church is our Holy Mother.

I have a feeling you googled “how Christians break their ten commenments” but not actually took time to see if we really do:shrug: .

(Chapter: Verse)
  1. Thou shall not take any
    God except one God.
  2. There is no God except
    one God (47:19)
[19] Know, therefore, that there is no god but Allah, and ask forgiveness for the fault, and for the men and women who believe: for Allah knows how ye move about and how ye dwell in your homes.
  3. Thou shall make no
    image of God.
  4. There is nothing whatsoever
    like unto Him (42:11)
[11] (He is) the Creator of the heavens and the earth: He has made for you pairs from among yourselves, and pairs among cattle: by this means does He multiply you: there is nothing whatever like unto Him, and He is the One that hears and sees (all things).
  5. Thou shall not use
    God’s name in vain.
  6. Make not God’s name an
    excuse to your oaths (2:224)
[224] And make not Allah’s (name) an excuse in your oaths against doing good, or acting rightly, or making peace between persons; for Allah is One Who heareth and knoweth all things.
  7. Thou shall honor thy
    mother and father.
  8. Be kind to your parents if one
or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not a word of contempt nor repel them but address them in terms of honor. (17:23)
Even when they kill you because they think you might dishonour them. (this one’s only missing a small bit at the start)
  9. Thou shall not steal.
  10. As for the thief, male or female, cut off
his or her hands, but those who repent After a crime and reform shall be forgiven by God for God is forgiving and kind. (5:38 - 39)
*[38] As to the thief, male or female, cut off his or her hands: a punishment by way of example, from Allah, for their crime: and Allah is Exalted in Power. Full of Wisdom.
[39] But if the thief repent after his crime, and amend his conduct, Allah turneth to him in forgiveness; for Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.*
  1. Thou shall not lie or give
    false testimony.
  2. They invoke a curse of God if they lie. (24:7)
    Hide not the testimony (2:283)
*[7] And the fifth (oath) (should be) that they solemnly invoke the curse of Allah on themselves if they tell a lie.
[283] If ye are on a journey, and cannot find a scribe, a pledge with possession (may serve the purpose). And if one of you deposits a thing on trust with another, let the trustee (faithfully) discharge his trust, and let him fear his Lord. Conceal not evidence; for whoever conceals it, his heart is tainted with sin. And Allah knoweth all that ye do.*
  1. Thou shall not kill.
  2. If anyone has killed one person it is as if he had killed the whole mankind (5:32)
Muslims love quoting this one. Pity it’s for the Israelites
*[32] On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our Messengers with Clear Signs, Yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land. *
  3. Thou shall not commit adultery.
  4. Do not come near adultery. It is an indecent deed and a way for other evils. (17:32)
This one’s close enough. However, this only applies to females - males on the other hand have their own personal brothel on hand in the islamic “nikaah”
  5. Thou shall not covet thy neighbors wife or possessions.
9, Do good to your parents, relatives and neighbors. (4:36)
*[36] Serve Allah, and join not any partners with Him; and do good to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbours who are near neighbours who are strangers, the companion by your side, the way-farer (ye meet) and what your right hands possess: for Allah loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious. *
    Saying of the Prophet
Muhammad (P) “One of the greatest sins is to have illicit sex with your neighbors wife”.
Mohammet is nothing but a hypocrit. Oh, source please
  6. Thou shall keep the Sabbath holy.
  7. When the call for the Friday Prayer is made, hasten to the remembrance of
God and leave off your business. (62:9)
[9] O ye who believe! When the call is proclaimed to prayer on Friday (the Day of Assembly), hasten earnestly to the Remembrance of Allah, and leave off business (and traffic): that is best for you if ye but knew!

That’s better, the actual quotes (for most of them).

Well, God wasn’t mentioned in any of them.

My usual source for quranic quotes

In the name of Allah , Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Salaam/peace
I have a feeling you googled “how Christians break their ten commenments”
lol . I browsed writing Quran supports 10 commandments, 10 commandments in Quran etc.

I don’t need to browse google to know if sadly many Christians are breaking the commandments or not . When they write they worship Jesus (pbuh) , I almost start sweating . Jesus (p) is God , there is no such verse in OT , NT or holy Quran.

a related verse from the holy Quran:

Remember that We made a solemn covenant with the children of Israel to this effect:

worship none save Allah: be good to your parents, to your relatives, to the orphans and to the helpless; speak aright with the people:

establish the Salat and pay the Zakat. But with the exception of a few, you all slid back from it and are paying no heed to it even now. (2:83)

** I don’t need to browse google to know if sadly many Christians are breaking the commandments or not . When they write they worship Jesus (pbuh) , I almost start sweating . Jesus (p) is God , there is no such verse in OT , NT or holy Quran**.

:dts:
Jesus IS God! Do you need us, once again, to quote all of the verses a) in the OT that prophecy His coming and b) in the NT where Jesus does confirm that He is God? I know they’ve been posted throughout the forums before.

I will agree with you that there are no verses in the Quran confirming this because this book is NOT from God, possibly influenced by Satan, and therefore it would expressly deny the Divinity of Christ in order to lead people astray. That is Satan’s goal - to lead God’s children astray. 😦

To begin:
you can’t apply catholic laws to that of islam. We have different circumstances under which to act which has been specifically ordained of us by Allah(GOD) the most high.
  1. We worship Allah(God) and Allah alone. Associating no partners with him for doing such is a major sin in Islam. Even saying that he has a son or is in the human form is concerned associating partners with God. God works alone. La illaha il Allah!
  2. a muslim fears Allah which alot of religious bodies lack. Hence, the straying from the original doctrines that have been formed for that religion including Christianty. By the way, Why do Christians eat pork?
  3. a muslim male is required to attend salatul jumah every friday. However, everyday in islam is Allah’s day hence our praying five times a day to give Allah the respect He deserves.
  4. Next to Allah and the prophet Muhammad, your respect and honor belongs to your mother and then your father in Islam.
  5. Killing your brother i.e another muslim is forbidden. However, if it is done by a accident then the appropiate measures must be taken.
  6. Forbidden also known as Zina.
    {QUOTE=dolphinlove;4820940]The ten commandments…

  8. You shall not take

  9. Remember to keep holy the LORD’S Day.
  10. Honor your father and your mother.
  11. You shall not kill.
  12. You shall not commit adultery.
  13. You shall not steal.
  14. You shall not bear false witness
    against your neighbor.
  15. You shall not covet
    your neighbor’s wife.
  16. You shall not covet
    your neighbor’s goods.
this is a list of the 10 commandments. I believe in islam, many of these are broken.
You are allowed to commit adultery, your allowed to murder, your allowed to covet your neighbours wife etc.
Would muslims like to prove me wrong otherwise?
Dont just come on here and say im spreading lies, we all know the basics of islam. I would like for you to explain why islam is allowed to break the Lords Commandments.
Thanks

I would love to know how the bible is from God? when clearly the likes of Matthew, Jonh, Paul, etc. claim to have written the new testament. Does this mean you think they are God as well. If Jesus is God, then who did he pray to himself?
The Qur’an is from God from Jesus(peace be upon him) himself informed his followers about the coming of Our prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) How else will you explain the vivid details of the previous prophets that roamed this beautiful land? Allah revealed these things to Muhammad, so to say it was influenced by Satan is blasphemy in the worst way and I pray that Allah have mercy on your soul.

These are good questions. It can be reasonably answered here if you start a thread on this. Maybe it’s not a good idea to discuss it here since the OP want this to be a discussion on Islam.

For better explanation from people who can give you answer with more authority, I suggest you ask these questions in the apologetic section.

God bless. 🙂
