yeah hentai is porn, i avoid it like the plague… it just rots you from the inside out, ill stick to animated super heroes, giant robots, ninjas and samurai, thanks

It’s a discussion about anime, 90% of the people here have seen things they wish they never have, 5% have “yellow fever,” and the remaining 5% have no idea what I’m talking about.

Oh yeah, and yes, I’m admitting that I’ve watched hentai/ecchi, seen smut fanart, and read smut fanfiction. I belong to the 90-something percent of males my age who have problems with that regard…and I’m working on it.

Now I’m going to make a horribly timed joke to get over that thread killer:
“Anime - because real girls won’t do”

I think the idea of Ichigo versus Aizen as an endgame is no good, I’d rather Shinji just do it and give Ichigo that giant whale grin of his when Ichigo finally shows up, 😃
 
Well since one has already given an update on Bleach, I might as well give mine on Naruto

No spoilers. Just an opinion I’ve formed about Danzo regarding the latest chapter.

He’s gone from an amoral son of an amoral son of a !@#^!@&! to a gutless, heartless piece of !@#^!@^&!@^#&@!^#!!!

That is all. ._.

Please explain what the first sentence means. The terms are contradictory. The second and third sentences contain both presumptions and puzzling hostilies. Please explain those.

Your arguments for porn seem weak and ill-formed. Can you explain how watching porn serves either God or man?

I’m not about to drag you into a trip down memory lane now am I? How many times have I (heck, others too) told you to quit being a prude? Every time someone tries to make a rational discussion regarding porn without coming off as a radical, religious absolutist, you show up with hardly anything worth intellectually contributing.

This is coming from someone who makes assertions that make no sense. Furthermore, there you go again with your black-and-white logic. My point isn’t about serving anything. I simply have an objective and that is to cynically mock and parody anime pornography from a literary perspective. I can’t exactly do that though if I don’t know what the heck it is I’m making fun of.

Speaking of which, has anyone noticed that a lot of series have that one token girl who may or may not have that adolescent squeeze on some other girl?

Again, how is watching pornographic cartoons (under ANY guise) serving God?

While you may believe that bringing up the radiating nature of personal sin is ‘prudish,’ I did not invent the concept. Personal sin does have an effect on the individual, the society, the Church, and even the cosmos.

As to whether such a concept is intellectually ‘worth anything,’ you might ask someone like Father Wade Menezes, whose excellent homilies on that subject are worth anyone’s time.

Look it’s not the fact that you point it out. It’s the fact that you blow it out of proportion and furthermore you act like it’s something to be buried and not dealt with. You’re like the people back then who opened their canned goods with guns.

I’ve got a better idea, why don’t you actually present your own opinion yourself before having other people do it for you? I’ve seen your posts okay? If you’re trying to present the opinion of an authority such as a priest, you’re certainly not doing a good job at it.

I would love for this to happen too, and “giant whale grin” describes it so perfectly! 😃

Believe it or not, I started looking for an image that appropriately illustrates Shinji’s huge whale grin and even searching for THAT I encountered some yaoi image of Gin and Aizen shudder before finding what I was actually looking for (at that point I just gave up!)

Either Google search is just really buggy or there are a LOT of screwed-up anime fans out there. 😦
