Why is that? So, the hougyoku’s power is literally to create plotkai??? I’m just not sure if Kubo is trying to be ironic or not…
I’ve realized that Japanese anime and manga aren’t so much my hobbies as despising them are.
I’ve beaten you then. I can appreciate it yet make fun of it at the same time. This is probably the only balance in life I have achieved. Yay! XDI’ve realized that Japanese anime and manga aren’t so much my hobbies as despising them are.
You fool! You quoted the unquotable spoiler! You’ll destroy us all!Why is that?
Was that supposed to be funny? But you do make a good point. You fool! You quoted the unquotable spoiler! You’ll destroy us all!
But no, seriously:
- Because anime is an excuse to draw pornography
- Because yelling makes you stronger
- Newtonian physics don’t apply to mini-skirts
- If you run out of ideas, plotkai
- Plot is just filler in between fanservice
- How to describe your ultimate attack to your arch-enemy for fun and profit
- Androgynous male + no shirt + fangirls = $$$
- Because Vic Mignogna is a prima donna when he’s not talking to fans and stroking his ego or using the same voice for every character in every series he’s in.
- Non-denominational deity forbid someone actually write a series that doesn’t revolve around some high school kid waking up to discover that he (or she, or he and she…or “he” but is really a “she”) and only he (or she, or he and she…or “he” but is really a “she”) can save the world.
- Because I watched *Grave of the Fireflies *after My Neighbor Totoro and now I wan’t to kill myself.
I couldn’t get into GaoGaiGar. To me, it seems very cheesy in the first episode. Does it get any better? We’re finishing up GaoGaiGar so we can watch Ponyo.
I loved it from the start, so we probably have different tastes. I go nuts over outright hot-blooded heroic shounen stuff. But of course, I saw it in Japanese.I couldn’t get into GaoGaiGar. To me, it seems very cheesy in the first episode. Does it get any better?
Hey, it’s better than leaving all that back-issue plotkai as a total coincidence with no explanation…So, the hougyoku’s power is literally to create plotkai??? I’m just not sure if Kubo is trying to be ironic or not…

Ah, I need to get that on my to-do list.I just watched Ponyo—enjoyed the first part, but the Disney communists may have tacked on a save-the-planet message that wasn’t in the original.
My Japanese isn’t good enough to know on just one viewing, but I did catch one or two obvious not-literal translations.
I have. Pretty funny but also pretty bizarre. XDAh, I need to get that on my to-do list.
I’ve been very busy lately with Zetsubou Sensei; anybody else here who watched or read that?![]()
