Just out of curiosity:

What is “trolling”?

Please forgive my ignorance.

Posting to draw blood rather than to advance a discussion. Or posting for the sake of the attention one gets…attention/energy parasitism.

The fact that they’ve got the audacity to disagree with catholic doctrine does not make one anti-catholic. It’s no more anti-catholic than this site is catholic elitist

And don’t worry guys, I’m not trying to be a troll…just want some good discussions. As you’ve no doubt guessed, I’m obviously not a catholic, and some will recognize me from carm.
And elsewhere.

NOT.

The thinnest veneer of catholicism is found at this “progressive” site. It labors under many misunderstandings of church doctrine. Supports the failed “seamless garment” approach to the “pro-life” agenda. Operates under the dubious proposition that quality of life issues are morally equivalent to abortion. Site is known to be, uh … less than rigorous with the truth … to support their anti-war agenda.

You make me laugh 😃

that really drew my attention was the POTC’s website, esp. w/ their movie scenes. Best blog, Mark Shea’s hands down, coming in close to his is Amy Welborn’s, EnvoyEncore’s, HMS’; overall good website I would have to say is catholicexchange.com; I also like this one, ewtn, and so many more.

If you love the rosary, and rosary beads you will love www.rosaryworkshop.com
I just love to shop there!

I love CA’s website! 👍

I also like newadvent and the patron saints index.

And I greatly appreciate your good humor and charity. I also appreciate your modest attempts to justify your beliefs. (It makes correcting them that much easier. 😃 )

Nevertheless, my characterization of your “best” Catholic site stands. It has been shown to be wrong. Yet you still offer it as a “proof” for your beliefs. Can you acknowledge their errors?

It has been shown to be wrong? Oh yea? Where? :hmmm:

The only problem is that it is not a Catholic website.

The word carm is an abbreviation for carmelite and people could
easily think it is a catholic website.Sounds like a fraud to me.
They should convince me,by valid argument, that they have the Truth, not by trying to hoodwink me.My reaction to that kind of stunt is to just dig my heels in and stop listening to ANYTHING
these people say.

I found this site to be very helpful especially when trying to decide which one is faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. There are lots of sites out there that can be misleading.

catholicculture.org/index.cfm

I invited all, even the staff apologist to come over, who know they might be lurking over there now…😛
