i want proof from you that the book you call holy is indeed the word of God…the book most non catholic call the Holy Bible is not the Holy Bible so to me it falls into the realm of being a book.

What’s with jimmy Swaggart? Is that all you can name? Molestation is NOT a Catholic thing. The Catholic church still has the lowest molestation rate around. Seems the Protestant ministers are first in line when it comes to this.
There are 1.5 BILLION CATHOLICS, why do you think that is so? Only one church, one flock, one sheep as Jesus wanted. The Holy Spirit does not guide 30,000 denominations. It guides the Catholic church, why do you think we’ve stood for 2,000 years? From luck? No, from the Holy Spirit In spite of what the Reformers and others tried to do, they couldn’t. Instead of these unhappy men trying to bury the Catholic church, the church ended up burying them instead.

If you have read my posts, you know that I have said no such thing. Rather, I have expressed distress and dismay at your repeated attempts to grossly exaggerate the number of incidents among Protestant ministers and ignore the data available on Catholic priests. I’m not saying it’s a Catholic-specific problem. I’m not taking a position on whether there have been more incidents among Catholics or Protestants. I’m not disagreeing with any of the actual data presented. What I am saying is that you’re speaking far beyond the data stating opinions based on nothing more than your own anti-Protestant bias. To remind you of some examples:
You have not backed up these claims, plain and simple. By allowing yourself to be blinded by your disdain for all things Protestant, you have not only failed to listen to those speaking to you, you have allowed yourself to be ruled primarily by emotion rather than truth. Support your assertions with evidence or keep them to yourself. Personally, I’d rather see us support one another in prayer over it than get in some kind of…contest…over whose clergy has done more evil.

But I do. Avenger was bannedand I’m sure that makes you happy. Um, I wonder what Jesus would say about that. You are the hate mongers. Jesus said “Neither cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet and turn again and rend you”, Matthew 7:6. Somebody get some ointment for that burn. You are the swine. The sky is not falling! An epidemic??? I, myself, feel even one case is wrong! That isn’t the point.It is important to keep one’s eye on the forest and not on the trees. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops commissioned a survey of Roman Catholic church records of abusive clergy, which was completed by the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, in 2004. This survey estimates, four percent of priests had sexually abused youths or children, that still leaves about 96% of priests (24 priests out of every 25) who are non-abusive.
A very large percentage of the victims of sexual abuse by priests are 16 or 17 years of age. In some jurisdictions, young persons of this age range can consent to sexual activity. Of course, sexual activity with youth in that age range would be a gross violation of the Church’s expectation of priestly chastity. It is an abuse of trust by a person in authority. However, it might not be considered a criminal act in some areas. Contrary to belief, very few of those priests who do abuse are actually pedophiles, as the media often reports. Rather they are hebephiles – generally adult priests with a homosexual or bisexual orientation, and who are also sexually attracted to post-pubertal males. Their victims are teenage males who are generally aged 16 and 17. It is important to keep in mind that the vast majority of priests, with a heterosexual, homosexual or bisexual orientation, do not molest or sexually abuse any young people.
The report’s estimate that 22% of the abuse involves victims under the age of ten, then a case can be made that abuse of young, pre-pubertal, children by priests may even be lower than among the general population of males in the U.S.
My fellow “christians???”
These “people”, catholic, protestants, buddist, morman, agnostics, atheist, whatever are sick. They need our prayers. That some are Catholic Priests is terrible, but what about your weird uncles? Pray for them stop mashing eachother over stupid things like that. Remember the big things like Protestants are not saved because they do not eat the body and drink the blood of our Lord and savior like Jesus commanded! They follow counterfeit denominations and unless the Catholic Church’s grace saves them they are condemned to eternal damnation!
