The Devil Made Me Do It?

Check out this site, if you want help against the enemy. They are always very busy. So the personal help and forums are sometimes unavailable. There are hosts of prayers for people if they have trouble, though. Recognising that the devil is very real, one ( especially me ) needs to note that the devil is very pleased when we think about him. He wants nothing more. Because we won’t be doing much good at the same time. But, keep him in the back of your mind. Have a healthy respect. And know that Christ has conquered him.

The satanists are at their most active at the great feasts of the Church. So, we should pray for them. And to make reparation.

It’s heartening to know that these demonic experiences are more common than I thought!

For a couple of years when I was a teenager I would regulary be choked or otherwise abused by an invisible malevolent force that rendered it impossible to move. A few Ave Marias would do the trick every time. At one time I used to sleep with a little crucifix in my hand to hopefully put the devil off. I woke one night, to my terror, of not only being choked, but also having my clenched hand (with the crucifix) twisting away from me like someone was trying to open it or wrench my hand off.

I wont go into too much detail, as its very personal and not a little embarrasing to be talking to complete strangers about this, but what I will say is that my conversion involved being visited by the demon in the form of a blasphemous resurrected Christ (its complicated) and then being hauled out of the room at a rate of knots by what I later figured out (with my spiritual director) was my guardian angel (bless him ). Trust me, it’s a most effective way of getting someone off heavy metal music.

No i’m not mentally ill, and I’ve never seen anything like it before or since. My spiritual director, after much consideration, explained that it was the Lord showing me who I was befriending in my old lifestyle.

I’ll stop there, but there is plenty more where that came from unfortunately. It doesn’t bother me anymore, it means you’re on the right track

I believe Satan is real. Do I think we can blame all our actions on him? Not all, since we still have free will and should take responsibility for our actions. Yes, I’ve felt the presence of evil before.

Everyone should know there is a Satan or a Devil, I think it is mentioned in the Bible 58 times. It is written that Satan tempted Jesus Christ. The Apostles knew a lot about Satan.

Satan or the Devil has many many coharts called demons. Some are smart and some are almost retarded but all are evil.

Once at a daily mass, was praying about a particular problem with a person who seemed to be influenced by the devil…I said, 'Lord, what manner of demon am I dealing with" meaning the problem continued despite masses, prayers etc

At that moment the church with filled with an enormous sound like a cross between a huge roar and a growl. Everyone heard it, including the priest, and turned around and looked in the direction it seemed to be coming from, which was high in the back of the church near an old choir loft.

Needless to say, I was stunned. After it happened everyone turned back around and the mass went on as if nothing had happened. I think I was shown, “what manner of demon I was dealing with” !!

A prayer I have said since I was little is the Prayer to my Gaurdian Angel. I started saying it because I was afraid I would come to harm as I slept.

My experience also happened while I was in my bed at night. I had decided not to attend mass that Sunday, and at this time in my life I was vain and thought pretty highly of myself, I was beautiful, smart, had a great life in front of me, etc. Anyway, as I was trying to fall asleep I suddenly had this interior vision of a hideous creature on my chest with claws and it was scratching my face up. I felt like a couldn’t breathe, I started crying, and I asked it in my mind what it was doing. I heard in my mind, “I’m just waiting until you die so I can rip your soul away and take it forever!!” I couldn’t sleep all night, I was afraid of dying in my sleep. The next day I went to confession, I was blessed enough to have it offered on Monday afternoon. Since it drove me to go to confession, I don’t think it was really the devil, I think it was a grace from God showing me what the devil REALLY is like.
