I remember a time when Jacques Chirac was labelled to be the Antichrist and the introduction of Euro was the sign of the beast. I’ve lost interest in speculating.

I’m hesitant to say it’s the “last days” just because a lot of generations from the dawn of time till now thought it was the 'last days".

The term “that day” occurs in Scripture and it refers to the Great Day of YHWH, which is, of course, the end of the world and also the return of Christ. In this regard I refer this thread to Isaiah 3:17-24 for a recently fulfilled prophecy which includes the term, “that day.”

That day the Lord will . . .give the daughters of Zion itching heads and will uncover their nakedness. . .
Instead of a belt, a rope;
instead of a scent, a stink;
instead of a nice dress, a sack;
instead of nice hair, a shaven scalp,
and brand marks instead of beauty.

This is a perfect description of conditions for Jewish women in WW II slave labor camps. Note that tattooing is considered a form of “branding” when it is used for identification.

The conclusion is that we have been experiencing the Great Day of the Lord for some time now. If, as I believe, Adolf Hitler was the anti-Christ, then it is later than we think.

You might be interested in Desmond Birch’s “Trial, Tribulation, and Triumph.” He puts together a possible timeline based primarily on Scripture and the Church Fathers, with some additions from approved – and only approved – private revelations.
He doesn’t think we’re close at all to the end. If I’m reading him correctly (and I hope Cruciferi will correct me if I’m not, I haven’t finished the book yet), we might be approaching, or even in the early days of, the minor chastisement. The Anti-Christ is still a long way off.

I don’t know. Hitler was pretty bad but I think Stalin killed more people. Maybe the Anti-Christ had a twin.
 
🚽 Water pressure. In the absence of electricity to operate water pumps, water pressure can be provided by other means, so do not worry about that.

I think yes/maybe/I don’t know are all acceptable answers for a Catholic to give.

To say no, IMO, would be wrong.

Hitler was a type of anti-Christ in the same way that King David was a type of the Christ.

The anti-Christ will be similar yet different in various ways from Hitler.
