The Church goes as far as making rules about how a married couple should enjoy their sex life
This is the duty of the Church. When Jesus taught that a man that looks upon a woman lustfully has already committed adultery, He made it clear that His Teachings were to be applied even to the intimacy of our sexual lives. He committed His Teachings to the Apostles, instructing them to “go and teach all that I have commanded”. The Apostles then appointed successors to carry on this teaching authority.
Do you think that God does not care how you “should enjoy” your sex life?
and then they use the Vatican to hide criminals. Should we be angry about that?
Well, the anger of a man does not accomplish the righteousness of God, so no, I do not think we “should be angry”. However, we are made in such a manner as to become indignant when there is a violation of justice, so yes, to that extent, we should become righteously provoked whenever criminal behavior is practiced or tolerated.
Do you think Jesus or any of the apostles and Church Fathers would approve of that. Please don’t tell me infallibility does not mean impeccability.
I do not think that Jesus or the Apostles approve of criminal behavior.
I said that about infallibity not equating to impeccability because you appear to confuse the two.
The apostolic teachings are the Bible. It says to be doers of the Word not just hearers. It says to expose the deeds of darkness.
Some of them, are, and some of them are not. When the Scripture was written, no effort was made to include all that the Apostles taught.
Yes, we are to be doers of theWord, and not hearers only, and yes, we are to expose the deeds of darkness. What has that to do with the charism of infallibility? Do you think Peter’s discouragement of Christ to go to Jerusalem nullified his proclaimation that a moment before was revealed to Him by God?
