How do you know for sure that there will never be a change in the future? This is an unsupported opinion on your part. Your opinion is contradicted by events in history because there have been many changes in borders of countries. The number of Hispanics in the United States as of July 1, 2012, was 53,000,000 making them the largest ethnic or racial minority in the USA. Hispanics constituted 17 percent of the nation’s total population. in 2012. The projected Hispanic population of the United States in 2060 is 130,000,000 or more than double the present population. According to this projection, the Hispanic population will constitute 31 percent of the nation’s population by that date. 65% of Hispanics are of Mexican origin. As the number of people of Mexican origin increases, and the number of Spanish speaking people increases, to reach a big majority in some states, it is not inconceivable that you could see a change. After all, didn’t the people of Crimea recently vote to be allied with their home country of Russia? The borders have changed there. Actually, there have been many changes in borders in Europe just in the last 70 years. Why is it impossible that there will never be a change in the future borders of North America? Especially as you consider the fact that the demographics are predicted to change drastically and perhaps even faster than the current predictions because of the large number of children coming in over the border. I don’t see these number of immigrants decreasing. I suspect that as long as Americans continue their use of illegal drugs, there will be drug cartels in central and south America and as the violence and terror continues, more and more children will seek to avoid being kidnapped and dragged into a life of crime. Don’t some famous Americans even admit to having used cocaine and other illegal drugs and never have been penalized for it?
