Looks goooood…not sure about having some for breakfast though 🤔 I’ll put it in the frig for later.
 
He was thrilled to get 1-1/2 peaches today. I wanted to give him extra last night after the plumber left but didn’t have the energy to get them. So when he began clucking and crowing today, I made sure he had his extras for being so patient.

Lily I have some young chickens here and a couple in particular are just fearless of me,so cute and quiet.Going to see if I can teach one a trick ,if I click my fingers each time I give him a treat…and teach him to hop up on my knee.
 
Don’t be surprised if he does hop up on your knee. The first time Chicky jumped in my lap, it was deer in the headlights for me. See, he came to us a little older rather than us raising him from peeping chick hood. We guessed he must’ve been an Easter gift but for some reason, got abandoned or something. He came to us that September when it was hotter than hot. Once he realized I was the one giving him water, he started running up to me. And he kept wanting to be let in the house. He’d peck at the front and back doors to come in. He wanted to be wherever I was,

Now he gets peaches, eggs, birdseed. I researched what chickens could eat. He loves watermelon, raisins and strawberries too. Never tried him on kale. I’ll have to give him a piece and see what he thinks.
 
He’s quite a character 🙂 I have to watch my little ones don’t peck my teeth if I bend over smiling …their beady little eyes don’t miss anything that’s remotely shiny.They might think I’m mother hen, but instinct is strong !
