If there is some proof that the economic, societal, and familial destruction we self-inflicted has saved an equal number of lives that it cost us, please present it.

I have yet to see it. There are more practical ways to deal with the pandemic than we have chosen. The fact that schools in states with such low case counts are still closed is proof of our selfishness and idiocy.

CDC just came out with new stats,re the survival rates for various groups-99.97suvival for young children
94% for 70+
Age groups I between these extremes are all in the high nineties

The rhetorical hyperbole in the lawsuit was regarding a given sentence in a given instance.

Admittedly Tucker uses a lot of rhetorical hyperbole elsewhere too.

All reasonable people KNOW when he is using rhetorical hyperbole.

I stand by my post and Tucker’s information.

The left’s reaction to President Trump’s recent illness WAS disturbing.

You do not express such responses over someone else’s being sick.

A big difference between today and yesteryear:

When the leftist media got caught lying 15 years ago, they often apologized and tried to forget about it.

Today, because all the leftist media KNOWS that they have each others’ backs, they double-down on errors (which are often deliberate). Those who fail to diversify their media intake are probably unaware that President Trump has specifically denounced white supremacy dozens of times.

The double standards of leftists are offensive. The same thing happened after President Trump’s trusted brother died. President Trump referred to his brother as his best friend. But I’m not aware of much sympathy coming from the left.

On the other hand, Joe Biden continues to be the recipient of much sympathy.
 
Just two weeks ago or so, the media was trying to fool you into thinking “Trump” was at death’s door.

Some viewers probably fell for it.

Others probably went along with the spoof to try to politically demoralize those “Trumpsters”.

Others had their own reasons apart from this, for believing the fake speculations, spurious diagnosis’s, wild conspiracy theories, etc…

The conservatives are not news snobs and get a well rounded set of news views.
I think that is WHY the conservatives were not fooled by the MSM about the Trump-death conspiracy theories.
At least the conservatives that I have read in that time frame,

To know the truth, all you had to do was listen to President Trump’s doctor.

Remember the MSM attempted to put in your mind, that the President was at “death’s door” as I pointed out.

Since October 12th, the President has been featured at 20 Campaign Rallies!​

This all over the map in the US.

Odd behavior for a guy alleged to be on his way to the grave isn’t it?
