Where in the Gospels does it state that one ought not feel LOVE towards all of humanity? I’m not ashamed of my worshiping nothing other than one God, who is perfect LOVE?God is love. But refusing to preach the gospel and allowing your fellow man to go to hell is not “love”, its satanic. What you call love is actually the worst form of hate possible. DONT BE ASHAMED OF THE GOSPEL.
Have a blessed night, Gary.Good Night all, I been sent to hell and called an apostate enough for one night.
Such Christian love.
I’m going to pray.
Do you feel a DEEP spiritual LOVE for your Muslim and Jewish brothers and sisters?Gary is an apostate. He said Islam is just as true as Catholicism, this is apostasy.
As for Robert I think he’s just severely misguided, part of the liberal “everyone goes to heaven” myth
Yes and the greatest act of love you can give them is converting them to Christianity. Don’t u understanding telling them they can continue to believe a lie is the most hateful thing u can do? Do you believe Catholicism is THE truth or just A truth?Do you feel a DEEP spiritual LOVE for your Muslim and Jewish brothers and sisters?
Sorry, but I do not judge! Not my job!
I believe in the Church, but I also have an extremely high LOVE for Muslims and Jews. Again, I believe that many of them inadvertently worship Christ, and thus will be saved.Yes and the greatest act of love you can give them is converting them to Christianity. As long as a person has not been finally judged by God, we are bound to love them. But that does not mean we turn a blind eye to their behavior, that we refuse to recognize evil, even institutionalized evil where it exists. It does not mean we relax our guard in the proximity of evil. It does not mean we refuse recognize the sources of that evil.I believe in the Church, but I also have an extremely high LOVE for Muslims and Jews. Again, I believe that many of them inadvertently worship Christ, and thus will be saved.
I believe Jesus Christ and his message of salvation is the truth. I believe the Catholic Church, as guided by the Holy Spirit, expresses that truth more clearly and honestly than other faiths. Nevertheless, I also believe that it is possible to attempt to express that truth in such a way that it gives a lie to the very truth we seek to express. Forced evangelizaton, for example, though it may be an attempt to lead people to the truth, falls short of the truth because it fails to respect the dignity of the human person and the free will God has given him. The truth is not found merely in the faith, but also in the way we live the faith.Yes and the greatest act of love you can give them is converting them to Christianity. You realize the Church supports two of your four supposedly “satanic” freedoms? (2 and 3)I recognize that America’s “freedoms” are satanic in nature, and anti-biblical.
- America says women have the “freedom” to murder their babies
- America says the public has the “freedom” to have separation of church and state
- America says you have the “freedom” to publically practice false and dangerous religions
- America is currently in the process of giving gays the “freedom” to marry
Again we see you are not familiar with history. The crusades, I’m talking about the three levied against Islam. Were relatively successful. In the end, the crusaders were over extended and suffered because Saladin had poisoned the water, and burned the crops. We don’t hold cannibalism against people that are starving by the way. What truth, the Crusades were a badly executed military plan, they reverted to cannibalism in Syria after killing 40 thousand., and were foolishly defeated by a better CO. And after all those utter failures they lost the Holy Land, lost the Rock. That’s an utter disaster. And they want to now cry about Christians murdered in the middle-east? Don’t get started on America and their military plight either. Did you watch the film of the guy that earned the MOH? Who ever designed and planned that PB ought to be court martialed and sent to Leavenworth to break rocks for the rest of his life. And true to reality the fellow now carries a pistol in his home and to bed, welcome home! His mind will follow the body in about another 3-decades.
And now as astonishing as it is, after all that murder and havoc, we should ask, do we have a problem? Yes we do. and sitting around with ours heads in the sand doesn’t help. And we should wonder, “why” ignorant people are playing “be a muslim for a day” and running around with make shift IEDs the next year?
This is “why” I think people need to get outside here and interact, we can’t shield ignorant people from Islam converting, or from doing stupid things. The garden is gonna weed itself as usual. And as usual those who refuse to pay attention to those who actually “know” well. that’s another well known chapter in history.
So you’re saying we should not even attempt to try to spread the gospel?I believe Jesus Christ and his message of salvation is the truth. Lumen Gentium, para 16. vatican.va/archive/hist_councils/ii_vatican_council/documents/vat-ii_const_19641121_lumen-gentium_en.html This is repeated verbatim in the Catechism section 841.But the plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator. In the first place amongst these there are the Muslims, who, professing to hold the faith of Abraham, along with us adore the one and merciful God, who on the last day will judge mankind.
-Earlier in the thread you stated that you aren’t worried about most Muslims because you believe extremists only make up a small percentage of the total Muslim population. Above you are equating being serious about Islam to extremism.Do I think they could possibly be an extremist? Did anyone (besides Russian President Putin who tried to warn us about it) suspect that the Boston bombers would do what they did? The Boston bombers were young college students in America, and everyone they knew thought they were harmless. Some girls were even infatuated with one of the bombers (even after the bombing). I agree that usually Muslim women aren’t suicide bombers (although sometimes they are). But where there are the women the men are usually not far away. And if the woman is serious about Islam her man most likely is, too.
Oh, I can move on, Gary. But then I don’t have a brother or cousin or friend that died on 9/11. Those that died though are my countrymen and they were innocent people who were slaughtered for the sake of some fanatical Muslims. Granted, not all Muslims are fanatical, but where are the ones speaking out against the fanatics? I haven’t seen many of those. And that leads me to think that a moderate Muslim will go along with what the fanatics do. Possibly it’s something in their religion that says it’s okay to do what the terrorists do.Everyone did move on its over 12-years ago. If you take it personal and would like to continue to stick it in their face, then you live in America and have that right. They live in America also and have the absolute right to freedom of speech. The same freedoms you uphold as an American? The same freedom you insist you have? What right do you have to suggest they shouldn’t speak and what they should say? You mean that same double standard some muslims suggest that no one can speak about Mohammad? How about that sore looking double standard? Or you don’t care about their American feelings do you? So how about we ban any talk about the prophet and every time you mention his name you can chant PBUH? “Its too sensitive for them” Not so warm on that idea are you. So why can’t they speak about “whatever” they want in America. Oh its too sensitive for you, you mean like Mohammed talk is for them?
Next you’ll be telling me “Oh its unfair because Christians are scared to talk about them”.
And that is my point. Do you get it now?
So it’s wrong to place your faith and God above a secular society in which abortion is legal, marriage is being redefined, and materialism is not only the norm, but encouraged? Well you better get on the phone and let the Holy Father know he’s doing it wrong.Yes, yes I do. Any woman that wears a Burkha in a western country is showing where her allegiances are. That’s a big middle finger to the west and Christianity. She sides with Saudi Arabia and Al Qaeda, not with the west.
You are placing Islam on the same pedestal as Christianity. Islam is an enemy of Christ and Christianity. So it’s wrong to place your faith and God above a secular society in which abortion is legal, marriage is being redefined, and materialism is not only the norm, but encouraged? Well you better get on the phone and let the Holy Father know he’s doing it wrong.
Christianity isn’t equal to, a product of, or dependent on Western society, it’s above and outside it.
My friend there is no reasoning with some who calls the crusaders “losers” yet defends muslim terrorists. There is no reasoning with someone who says Islam is just as true as Catholicism. He’s an apostateOh, I can move on, Gary. But then I don’t have a brother or cousin or friend that died on 9/11. The standard is far higher than just being “aware of.” It is they know/understand the Catholic faith is correct and reject it anyway.Again are you saying that Muslims who are aware of the Ctatholic church and its teachings, and continue to remain muslim (and deny the bible, divinity of christ, trinity, etc) can remain muslim and go to heaven? Yes or no?
