I was glad to see at first that no cases in Africa yet and only and in Uae in the middle east, but apparently now there is.
 
@fin watch post 177 ( Update 19) - it talks about some of these clinical trials.
 
There is a big missing piece of the puzzle. 73,000 confirmed cases 1800 deaths and 12,000 recovered.
What happened to the other 50,000 people? They are still sick?

It would take days to weeks for people to recover depending on their immunity/co-morbidites and how often they have been exposed to the virus.

The remaining 50 k confirmed cases have not yet recovered from the illness.
 
Radio just said there are 70 000 new cases in China.
On another note there are no face masks coming out of China anymore, the primary source for face masks, and wont be for quite some time.

If there are 70,000 new cases, then there are 120,000
who have the illness now.

The total deaths and recovery and those still sick equals the total number of confirmed (tested) cases.

Just remember that China they are only testing those that present into hospital, not those that are at home with a milder illness. So the numbers of cases are most likely higher (those not tested as have not presented into hospital)

Yes, it really seems to settle in the lungs which makes it so deadly. I read where a family of 4 all died who had self quaramtined.
 
China is cleaning its money, that has got me thinking. There is talk the virus is travelling through the climate control system on the Diamond Princess.
