There is a 70 yr old with Corona virus, I cannot remember which country, but he was exposed to the virus over 20 days ago, and only now has symptoms.
 
The Oscars were February 9th. I hope none of the people from South Korea associated with the movie
Parasite were carriers of the virus. I don’t know how
many cases wers in South Korea at that time.

I think they are warning against travel to Japan and
South Korea now.
 
The area in Italy with the outbreak has cancelled public Masses and public gatherings for certain things. They are taking the outbreak pretty seriously.
 
Most likely exposed later than those 20 days - some one is walking around thinking they have a cold.
 
The way I read it, this person has been in lockdown or quarantine.
 
I"m guessing that official news reporting is scarce from heavily infected areas.
 
Did I hear there are deaths even in Iran?

I am concerned for President Trump going to India.

Not sure there are any cases there yet.

Wasn’t there a Chinese person that got off a cruise ship in Italy? Is that how the cases spread there.

The Arizona State University student infected after returning from China has been released from isolation.
 
Yes to deaths in Iran, may they rest in peace and grace of God, I havent heard of any cases in India yet. The Italian outbreak cannot find the original source of the virus, the ground zero person, they dont know who it is at all. Its pretty serious there, entire towns are in lockdown now, I think they are trying to contain it.

Very concerning to say the least. Here is a link to a gis data map dashboard from a doctor at Johns Hopkins. It shows current stats and maps the progress of the spread.

On 1/20/2020 there were 4 confirmed cases in “Other Locations” (places outside of China).
On 2/20/2020 there were 1.2K confirmed cases in other locations.
On 2/20/2020 at 5:01 am EST, the gis data is showing 2.3K cases confirmed in other locations.

I think the deaths in Iran are up to 50 now.

How was the virus started over there?

We have only had 1 case in my state of Arizona.
 
And just like that…
I need an account to access the recently available John Hopkins tally of the virus. I hope that changes back. The WHO tally is constantly behind and inferior information.
