The Archdiocese of Milan, Italy issued a notice yesterday suspending all public celebrations of the Mass until further notice in compliance with Italian Ministry of Health.

Interesting.

Interesting.
Those deaths would be greater with Covid 19 layered on top. Hopefully, US will offset the layer of complication another month or two giving the flu a chance to fade away.

The stock market took a big dive today.

If this continues to spread at this rate and to more countries, there will be a gobal economic impact.

I guess Iran’s deaths are below 20. Athough I heard tonight the death toll in Iran is still thought to be coser to 50 in the city of Qom.

The media is starting to use the word pandemic, I think WHO’s desire for this word not to be used is pie in the sky.

Italy has a situation at the moment with this virus in the north in several places.

Yes the stock market has been affected by the virus.

“The pasta shelves are empty!” :12

Japanese stock markets currently plunged 4%.

The pasta shelves are empty!
What is happening?!
There wasn’t this much panic when World War II started!!
Oh my God!
That sweet little old Italian man in the recent video I shared is just the cutest. I feel so sorry for him! I would give him a hug if I could and all the pasta in my pantry and more. 💚 🤍 ❤️ Praying that he finds nourishment and pasta he needs 🙏

Yes, now is a good time to put a little extra in your grocery carts. Don’t hoard! Share the pasta! 🍝

lol Share the pasta and rice around.
What is that saying, be aware but not alarmed.

So, what is everybody’s plan of action ?

From what I’ve gathered, keeping our hands clean, a regular sleep pattern with enough sleep, vitamin C, and exercise are essential. As well as avoiding smoking and bad diet.

Here is a good article.

Do what the government advises, each town will have its own protocols in respect to the virus.

I would not give global leaders too much of a hard time about this, everyone was hoping it could be contained.

There are about 4 flights from Seoul Korea to Los Angeles every day. There are 15 cases of Coronavirus in California, basically in Northern California, and including evacuees from the princess cruise ship.

Just because a group from Korea attended an award ceremony wouldn’t be a risk. Even if they won the Oscar.

So do we still keep shaking hands as a sign of peace at mass…still drink from the communion chalice…I guess it’s still a personal choice until the church says otherwise

I know of a facility that is in lockdown and this has not been made public, I wonder how many other places are like this.

We can make up our own minds, or listen to the advice of health authorities, which is what the Diocese in the Italian towns in lockdown and beyond are doing.

I"m not aware of anything like that. There are numerous self quarantines.
There are a few colleges nearby that draw international students.

Fortunately, the layout of my dwelling can easily be divided and configured to have a comfortable quarantine area. The idea is to offset the number of sick in the home at one time. Sick caring for sick isn’t optimum care.

Mine is to just live my life as usual like I’ve been doing, just as I did during the bird flu scare, West Nile virus scare, the H1n1, MERS, SARS, Ebola, Measles and all the others.

It’s an election year, afterall.
