Did Jesus ever refer to Mary as a queen?
Since Jesus knew of His fate and where He would end up on the throne, if Mary was to be refered to as a queen wouldn’t He address her as such while He was in His earthly body?
Luke 8:19-21
Jn2:4
Mary’s Queenship would not come until she was assumed into heaven. The woman in Revelation 12:1 is clearly the Virgin Mary since she gave birth to a male child who will rule all nations with an iron rod. This child was taken up to heaven and to his throne. This Child is Jesus. In the beginning of Revelation 12:1 states, "A great portent appear in the heavens, a woman clothed with the sun with twelve crown on her head.

The last time I check a queen wears a crown. Therefore Mary is Queen of Heaven.

Second, in the OT Jewish Kings have mothers as their Queens. Jesus continue this Davidic kingdom and hence he appointed Mary as Queen.

Jn2:4
Revelation 12:1-5 describes a mother, clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. Her son is described as he who is destined to rule all the nations with a rod of iron. Later, he is identified as the Word of God (Revelation 19:13-15), i.e., Jesus Christ. The obvious unbiased conclusion is that Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, is now the true queen-mother of heaven, and, as such, she is worthy of honor but, of course, not of worship (adoration) which is reserved for God alone.

The title, “the mother of my Lord,” found in Luke 1:43 and applied to Mary, is arguably the equivalent of the regal title, “queen-mother.”

Do you worship a different queen of heaven?
Are there two?
If so which queen of heaven is the REAL queen?
Hmmmm… :hmmm:,
a) a false goddess of some pagan culture, or
b) the mother of the King of Kings in the New Israel.

I don’t know which is the Real Queen of Heaven. Which do you think, Daisy:

And who said anything about worshiping her? I didn’t bring up worship.

Jesus doesn’t mention her as Queen. But Scripture does. Is the Inspired Word of the Holy Spirit any less authoritative?

BTW, welcome to the Forums Daisy!!! 👋

I don’t worship, pray to or bow down before any queen of heaven.
I worship God the Father. I put no god’s before Him.

The woman in Rev. 12 is Mary, the twelve stars are the twelve tribes of the New Israel. These are the twelve tribes that the twelve Apostles are set up to judge according to Jesus. The Baby is Jesus, one who is to rule the world with a rod of iron. And the Dragon is Satan (The Dragon could also be a symbol for Herod (an Edomite which stands for RED).

Mary is also a symbol of Israel and the New Church, which continues to groan in the birth pains of suffering Christians everywhere.

Where does scripture refer to Mary as a queen?
Rev12:1 refers to the nation of Israel which brought forth the Messiah. Twelve stars are twelve tribes.

I don’t worship, pray to or bow down before any queen of heaven.
I worship God the Father. I put no god’s before Him.
On the Worship part, AMEN!!!
I pray for others to pray for me, and I bow as a sign of respect.

All throughout the Old Testament we see the Kings of Judah listed with their mother’s the Queen. In Jeremiah, God even instructs Jeremiah to chastise the king and his queen mother for poor shepherding.

Is the Kingdom of God the new Israel? If so, then Jesus, the King of Kings has a Queen Mother.

The authors of Chronicles and Kings are very thorough in showing us the position of Queen mother.

Scripture clearly points to this being Mary, who is the Ark of the New Covenant. Remember, chapter 11:19 showed the Ark of the Covenant, and then the New Sign appears.

What twelve tribes of the apostles?
Is there a tribe of Peter somewhere?
I never heard of the tribe of John?
Where are these tribes of which you speak?

Rev12:1 refers to the nation of Israel which brought forth the Messiah.
So, the baby is an Individual - Jesus.
The dragon is an individual - Satan.
but the woman is a group - Israel? Following the norms of Apocalyptic Literature, shouldn’t the woman also be an individual - Mary?

Church Militant;2618379:
Immaculata, Queen and Mother of the Church, I renew
my consecration to you this day and for always, so that
you may use me for the coming of the Kingdom of Jesus
in the whole world
. To this end I offer you all my prayers,
actions and sacrifices of this day.

Would you be sacrificing things to the Queen of Heaven? Not the one that your misbegotten beliefs have you thinking of.

Look again at your Bible and see how Jesus addressed Mary.
Matt12:46-50
MK3:31-35, Lk8:19-21
Lk11:27-28
most important Jn2:4.
Does He address her as queen?

I don’t worship the queen of heaven. Because I read Jer44:17-22 and Jer7:18-20. The Word is pretty explicit on those practices.
Yeah, well if that was the woman in question then there’d be a problem wouldn’t there? But since that problem only exists in anti-Catholic propaganda then there is no problem.
Do you worship a different queen of heaven?
Are there two?

The Blessed Virgin…according to Revelation 12: 1 and 17, (which says, [17] Then the dragon was angry with the woman, and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and bear testimony to Jesus. And he stood on the sand of the sea.

Did not every king of Israel in the line of David have a Queen Mother? (Hebrew-Giberah) Is Jesus not the Messiah and therefore a king of Israel in the line of King David? If so, who is His mother and what position does she rightfully come into? She demonstrated her intercessory role at the wedding feast of Cana and in fact this brought about Our lord’s first public miracle even though He said that his time had not yet come. Some influence there?
The woman inRev12 is the nation of Israel the twelve stars are the twelve tribes
Ever notice that many Biblical visions and prophecies have multiple meanings and fulfillments?
I don’t worship, pray to or bow down before any queen of heaven.
I worship God the Father. I put no god’s before Him.
Really? Me neither! Wow! Prayer does not equal worship or adoration, and kneeling in prayer before any icon or image as catholics do is not sinful. The Intercession & Communion of Saints and Iconoclasm: Or: Catholics Worship Graven Images …
Where does scripture refer to Mary as a queen?
Rev12:1 refers to the nation of Israel which brought forth the Messiah. Twelve stars are twelve tribes.
Already refuted…

Should you be sacrificing ANYTHING to anyone but God the Father? Ex20:3-5
Do you see anything in my writings that says I sacrifice anything? You misread (intentionally I suspect) the meaning of “offering”. You wish you had a case here…too bad you’ve been taught wrong from pulpits and your own readings and study.🤷

Scripture clearly points to this being Mary, who is the Ark of the New Covenant. Remember, chapter 11:19 showed the Ark of the Covenant, and then the New Sign appears.
The ark of the covenant is just that, The box that held the tablets.
Are you saying the ark of the covenant in11:19 is refering to Mary and then 12:1 the woman is also refering to Mary?
Read it over.
The woman in 12:1 and also in 12:6 is refering to the nation of Israel.
Zechariah 14:5 backs up the nation fleeing to the wilderness during the tribulation.

Sorry, but 12:17 blows your whole premise all to pieces. **17 And the dragon was angry against the woman: and went to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. ** (DRB)

The Ark of the first covenant contained the tablets of the law etc.

The Ark of the new covenant was a human woman, chosen and purified by God Himself, and carried within it for a time the New Covenant of Christ. Just reading the New Testament for oneself makes this pretty plain.
