Don’t talk behind backs but tell it like I see it.
Believe me if I got deathly sick, I’d be asking about hydroxchloroquine. He is in his seventies and if he wants to take it, that is his business.
Blow it up all you want.
He is not a fool. He speak politically incorrect which is a part of his generation.I’m sorry. He speaks like a fool. Whether he is actually a fool is something each person has to decide for himself.
He is 73 years old and if he want to take it, why should doctors have the right to refuse him. If he is on a ventilator his changes are not good. Ninety per cent of people on ventilators die so why it may make sense to help people, it has not been shown to be that effective.“If it were me, in fact, I might do it anyway. I may take it … I have to ask my doctors about that. But I may take it.”
I did not post it. I read the headline which is Times Inflates Trump;s Foolishness and I think most news sources inflate it.The opinion piece you based this thread on said “But he obviously was not urging people to apply half-baked theories” and yet, he is a direct quote of Trump urging people to apply a half-baked theory. The premise of the opinion piece is incorrect.
No he speaks politically incorrect. Why should the elderly be denied a medication. Why can’t healthy relatives visit a dying love one? If it is your father, mother, it is your call.He speaks foolishly because that is the character his base wants to hear.
His base appreciates his “plain talk”, and his bombastic tweets as they see it, “fighting back”.
He does this on purpose.
He is not an eloquent speaker, that’s for sure, but the real fools are those who actually believe the president was telling people to inject disinfectant into their bodies. He speaks like a fool
It’s not due to his age. Do Carter, the Bushs’, or Obama speak in the same way?Feanor2:![]()

My mother-in-law would always look at me and said. “I am going to tell this to your face. I am not going to talk behind your back.” I always respected her for that.My parents didn’t speak that way.
We learned to always be moderate in our speech. My mother specifically taught me to avoid saying hurtful things, because even though you can apologize, the hurt could still linger.
When my mother stopped being careful with her words we learned she had dementia. She was starting to lose her self censoring abilities.
Kinda like Biden? When my mother stopped being careful with her words we learned she had dementia.
There is an aversion to the selling of snake-oil; we would like people to use their money and their opportunity with cures that are safe and effective, and not subject them to false hopes that squander money and opportunity. Some object to regulations - especially would be snake-oil dealers.Again why should the aged be refused a drug that may/may not help them. It is their choice as their chances are slim.
He was unable to keep the Obama recovery going. This is prosperity?
