Huh? Who is wrong and who is right wasn’t part of my discussion.

Only, what Islam teaches, and what Islam doesn’t teach. Islam doesn’t teach trinity, despite what inJESUS would have you believe.
you will have to refute that Islam teaches the Word of Allah is He yet not He, is uncreated and eternal and is his essence. I did not write these words.

my answer is yes but it is irrelevent. Even if as a man He is not omnipresent, it still has nothing to do with the Trinity. If Jesus ate, it has nothing to do with the Trinity. If Jesus slept, it has nothing to do with the Trinity. If Jesus died, it has nothing to do with the Trinity.
Actually it DOES matter because you said that their nature was immutable. But you just describe that Jesus’s nature was not immutable, because it changed–he wasn’t omnipresent as a man. So they don’t have the same nature.

The fact that you can’t comprehend the argument of the Qur’an being created or uncreated doesn’t mean you can impose trinity on it. No scholar of Islam has allowed your interpretation, and I don’t think any would allow for your twisting of the words you quoted to imply anything of the sort.

When the Word took a human flesh, it took another nature, it did not change in nature.Jesus didn’t relinquish his Deity in order to become man, but retained his divine nature since he can never cease being God. This is where immutability comes in. At Jesus’ incarnation, there wasn’t a subtraction of his Deity, but an addition of humanity; he added, not subtracted, something to his divinity.

Again, you are mixing Jesus’ 2 natures with the Trinity.

Discuss Father, Word, Spirit and not Jesus’ second nature. Remember, John says the Word is God, and later on talks about the taking of an additional human nature. I repeat, Jesus eating, sleeping, dying have nothing to do with the Trinity.

Amy, you are merely opposing without explaining or elaborating. Please refute that Allah has an eternal Word which is uncreated.

sister any ya this was question that islam teaches trinity or not.but the reall topic was TRINITY IN ISLAM.mean the islamic view point about christian trinity.sura 5:116 claim that in qiamat allah will ask jesus that did he teach them to worship him(jesus) or his mother with allah?now simply tell me why used mother?i think allah had to use holy spirit not mother.so its clear quran claim that christian trinity is father+mother+son.&it was mistake

amy it was a clear mistake of quran.cuz ur allah didn’t know wat christians worship or not?so answer my question my quran made mistake?why quran claim that christian trinity is father+mother+son?&we asked planten also u about inheritance law.planten gave an own calculation.when we wanted reference then he didn’t reply stil yesterday.have u any new calculation?if ya thn give it to MAJOR FLAWS OF ISLAM for u wit reference.god bless all ppl

you wanted the logical prove about trinity.older christians will give you.but i just want to know if your quran made mathematicall error in inheritance law then why you can’t slove it?1st solve it.post the thread to MAJOR FLAWS OF ISLAM then come here back and ask for the logical prove about trinity.don’t ignore any my message.its a challenge for you from me.if you have ability then prove that those mistake are not mistakes

** Islam does not teach the Trinity.**

I can’t believe that anyone would actually dispute that.

O People of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: Nor say of Allah aught but the truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) a messenger of Allah, and His Word, which He bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in Allah and His messengers. Say not “Trinity” : desist: it will be better for you: for Allah is one Allah: Glory be to Him: (far exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth. And enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.

They do blaspheme who say: Allah is one of three in a Trinity: for there is no god except One Allah. If they desist not from their word (of blasphemy), verily a grievous penalty will befall the blasphemers among them.

That is what Islam teaches about the Trinity. If you don’t accept that, it’s your own business. But to imply that Islam teaches anything different is simply not true.

exactly, what Islam teaches about the Trinity is not about the Trinity but Muhammad’s misunderstanding of it…

amy i am amazed!who asked you about the teaching of islam?i didn’t ask it.the topic was the view point about trinity in islam?or did you ignore my 3 messages?ok then you didn’t accept my challenge!brother injesus, amy ignored my messages neither couldn’t guess.i wanted to say that this topic was the view point of islam about trinity!i didnt say that islam teach it! amy were usacred?lol.if you are not then reply my messages.

Morning Star,

maybe Amy was talking about me. Me too i was not saying Islam teaches Trinity because Muhammad had no clue the Holy Spirit is what the Trinity consisits of beside the Father and His Word.

My point was about the Islamic belief in the Word of Allah as Allah’s essence, which is 2/3 of the Trinity.

yup,but i have challenged amy to prove the inheritance law of islam with mathematical calculation.planten did it in his own way.then when i and agnos had challenged him&asked him the reference of quran then he fled.see MAJOR FLAWS OF ISLAM.i have also asked it to amy.anyway injesus you are right that muhammad didn’t know about holy spirit.ceterall he learn bible from bahira the nestorian heretic man.so muhammad thought trinity=father+mother+son

sorry i made a mistak in spell.that i wrote ceterall bt it afteral.my electricity went of so i post it from cell phone.so its the mistake of dictionary.i wanted to say afterall muhammad leart bible from bahira

Let me frame it this way.

I do not believe that a “triune God” makes sense logically.

How can you PROVE to me otherwise, using only logic?

And not using scripture.
  1. first lets recognize the fact that split personalities happen. you know what that is, dont you?
  2. the fact that there exists intelligent creatures like you and me, i guess its safe to assume that God NEEDS company. For now stop arguing that god doesnt need anything. There is just no basis for that assumption.
  3. God is eternal while the universe is not. Eternity is a very long time. And for a God who needs company, who needs to relate, who needs to love, he would have to split his personality.
  4. Three would be the minumum number for an ideal social relationship.

with this reply, the only difference between you and Muhammad is that you do not claim these are the words of God. For this i give you credit 😛

Not really. I only took an intro to psychology and we didn’t cover that. I recall it being an illness, however, or a way of dealing with some crisis… doesn’t seem like an attribute of divinity. 🤷

How can you say God needs anything? Logically, for a God to create the universe, it seems that He would need to be self-sufficient. Self-sufficiency makes logical sense. So I won’t stop arguing that, because your suggestion isn’t logical. So it’s not safe to assume God needs anything. Not very God-like to need something.

Eh, stumped you at no. 2.

Three is all it takes for hell. Did you ever read “No Exit” by Sartre?
