I agree. Even if it doesn’t make anyone ill, nobody has any business messing with someone else’s food. It’s just plain wrong, regardless of how a customer behaves. That’s vengeance, or, as Wojciech put it, “blackmail”.
When dealing with the public, there are always going to be rude people. If that bothers one enough that they want to take revenge, perhaps they should find a job that doesn’t require public contact.
