Mmmyess. Jolly good. Did you hear about the peanut that walked into the subway station? It was a salted! (asaulted)

There are a lot of good young ladies in the DC area. Im a male almost age 25 and if you make the effort you shoud be able to find someone. Then again I kind of have a bit of inside knowledge given that I was closely associates with the most conservative Catholics in the area. There are many churches in the more urban areas that have young adult groups that are large and active. The TOT is sizable. Also, many young Catholic women intern with conservative politicians and groups and if you frequent ares around that at lunch you can run into some good ladies. Catholic University and Georgetown areas can be good to go to find young Catholic ladies.

DC has a lot for everyone. If you like conservative or liberal girls, we have a lot of both. There are a lot of Asian and Hispanic Catholics as well. Its a diverse area and if you look hard enough you can find someone. Its all about how hard you look and your motivation.

Jus browsing Catholic Match, DC area probably has the most of any metro on there given the large amount of FUS grads that come to DC.

Maryland. Very liberal area. Looking for a single practicing Catholic woman around my age here is like looking for a needle in a hay stack.
It’s the same here in the Seattle area. Sometimes I think I’d have better luck looking for protestant women, at least they’d probably be more conservative.

I think that’s how it is in bigger cities. But in general I think is difficult finding someone that
follows truly the Church’s teachings. I have tried online dating through Catholicmatch.com and it did not work for me. Many men that I talk to were not as “Catholic” as they seem to be.

Many Catholics want ti contracept. Not cool with me. I want babies. And I don’t want to hinder making them.

Ah, yes but I am 29 and too old for a young adult group.
In major cities, the average age in most Catholic YA groups is about where you are. A lot of people don’t bother joining until they’re at least in their late 20’s.

Hello, I’m a single 19 year old girl (but I feel I’m mature for my age). I’ve never been married and can be married in a Catholic church. I was raised in a non-practising catholic home, during my teenage years I fell out of touch with the church completely. I am a mother to a one year old girl, she is baptized Catholic. After having her, I got back in touch with my faith and now I am a practising Catholic and attend church every Sunday with my daughter. Since I’ve had my daughter, I’ve been a stay at home mother. I’m Canadian, and I’m hoping to find a Catholic husband who will accept my daughter as well (her father is not in our lives at all). I want to get married and start a real family, with a Catholic husband. I don’t have much of a formal education, but I am self-educated informally, and have great knowledge on history, religion, literature, etc.

I find it especially hard to look for a husband, since everyone I’ve met assumes young unmarried mothers are just whores. I’m obviously not, and have become a very devout Catholic and I plan on raising my daughter that way, and I want her apart of a proper Catholic family.

Hello all, I am a single, 28 y.o., female, catholic convert. I also have a 3 y.o. little girl. I love being catholic and attend mass every sunday with DD. I am a stay at home mom currently since I have had no luck getting a job in my field, so I plan on going back to school in the upcoming fall for nursing. I love horses and own 2. My DD and horses will always be a part of my life so I am looking for a catholic husband who can accept that. My DD’s father is not in the picture at all, but I have a very close family which has made things easier for me and DD.

Dating has been pretty much non-existant for me since I had my DD because I really feel that I am being judged before the whole story is known. I want to get married and I want my DD to know what it is like to have a family.

Howdy from Texas! :tiphat:

I’m a single male, turned 30 in March, never been married. I am currently in the Inquiry phase of entering the Secular Franciscan Order, and I cantor at my church’s Saturday evening Mass. I live the Gospel as best as I can, and am a cradle Catholic that fell away for a short time before returning to our beautiful Church and drinking deeply of the treasures therein.

I enjoy nature walks and have a special love for storm-chasing here in the Spring (already been on a couple of wild chases). I enjoy playing video games, reading, singing, and laughing at everything life has to offer. I am a klutz in the kitchen, but I have a good time there nonetheless. I have a close and loving family, and well, life has recently been a gentle, steady time of learning my Faith and growing to love all of life, in times of both plenty and lean.

I’d love to meet whoever my future spouse is to be sooner than later, but I am trusting that God is watching over both of us, and has things well in hand. I hope she’s able to laugh at something every day, has a tender and compassionate heart, and enjoys being a little silly every now and again.

Me too! 28, going back to school (trying to be a teacher at a university) but no luck yet. But I’m not a mom… though I’d really like to be one. 🙂

I am 36 y/o female, single, never been married… Praying for my future spouse…
