This has nothing to do with liberals, this is a republican thing. We will never get this country straight if we always point to the left. Let’s be grown ups.
I wasn’t aware I was speaking to a grown up only a prejudice opinionated individual unable to think objectively to be perfectly honest with you. Apparent by the on-going conversation. And yes all this has something to do with liberals as does this Constitution and Free Speech. Or we wouldn’t even be in this situation. 🤷

The Trump crowd is neither silent, nor a majority.
They are certainly the majority winning this process thus far and this is how they define themselves. How would you like to define them? What type of people are they and who are they?

So using your logic and opinions your a liberal?

They don’t even make up a majority of Republicans, much less the entire electorate.

Indeed. For me Chicago last night said it all. The more I think about it: We give Trump the nomination, diffuse the balloon that way - put up a serious, competent 3rd party candidate. I think taking him on at the convention is stupid and counterproductive. Just set up shop elsewhere: ALL LIVES MATTER. 😉

I don’t like the backroom strategy they are planning against Trump either.
They who? Does supporting Cruz rather than Trump mean that I am a dirty anti-Trump “establishment” Republican deal maker?

And imho you’ll lose this election and be whining about free speech and the constitution for not 4-years this time but perhaps a generation. Cruz and the rest are war mongers which there is no response for and was crystal clear the other night, and further he’s “immature”.

None of this makes a bit of difference to me as I will never vote till the “actual” election. But this is a mess.

Should I tell you what I think of his followers and hang a label on them for the advocates of free speech? 😃

Thats what we are on the "type"of people who follow Trump, I’m rather stunned by the insinuation they are different that the GOP especially since he is winning by majority of GOP votes. 🤷

40% is a majority - how do you mean?

I’m no republican strategist or republican die hard fan, but I think it’s in the best interest of the RNC that trump does not get the nomination. The RNC has to become more moderate before men like trump become the face of it.
Well, people keep saying that and this is do or die for the country, yet they either sit at home vote Kasich or Rubio, or threaten to go third party which in the entire history of the country has done nothing except at best muck up the field and at worst help the side they don’t want to win; more the latter, I’m sure.

And then 1 year from now, we’ll get to see these folks sitting around with jaw-dropping exasperation of “they promised! they promised!” and “I never thought! I thought!”

Yeah, well, the Romans and Brits “never thought, never thought it could happen to them either”.

But maybe I’m wrong, Maybe things really aren’t so bad for people. Maybe they don’t mind getting permission from the fed to cross the street as long as their neighbor’s cousin’s friend can have a :bighanky: gay “marriage” or a dairy subsidy.

Trump has received 4,344,542, or 35% of votes cast thus far, and is currently estimated to have 36% support among those who haven’t voted yet. However, I think he will have a very good chance of getting the nomination if his three rivals all stay in the race.

Yeah its a mistake and its another mistake to not address Free Speech in unity. Then they would have offered something to Trumps followers to indeed follow. Self serving and political mistake. I think it will increase his following and the blatant free speech contradiction will become more apparent.
