More than that, I don’t understand anyone who would vote for him. There are so many important reasons not to. Perhaps some believe that his distribution of wealth is fair. Envy is one of the seven capital sins. Even if one is pro-abortion, what this man and his like-minded buddies have done to the economy of this country is disastrous.I simply do not understand Catholics that even entertain the idea of voting for Pres. Obama.
I seriously in all earnestness do not get it.
We need to address our fellow Catholics on these issues. If just the Catholics voted as actual Catholics then all would well methinks.![]()
Thanks for posting this. I always like to know who the enemy is.WORD!!!:clapping::clapping:
Hmmm I thought Quakers were all about not doing harm to other humans???WORD!!!:clapping::clapping:
In my opinion…more harm would be done to others IF a Republican gets into office than a Democrat…I do not have the constraints placed upon me by an ecclesiastical body that requires me to be a “one issue voter”…Sometimes we must choose the “lesser of two evils”…Hmmm I thought Quakers were all about not doing harm to other humans???

Few “laws” can be passed at the federal level to restrict abortion. However the appointment of surpeme court justices can have a major effect.I seriously doubt that any “anti-abortion” laws would be passed to satisfy the “one issue voters” should Republicans get into office…so…I am not a “one issue voter”…I vote for the canidate I feel best would lead this country and secure the welfare of all it’s citizens…difficult choices must be made at time that do not carry with it a “black” or “white” stance…most are “shades of grey”…I weigh the “most harm” vs the “most good” and make my choice accordingly.
I am required by my faith to vote my conscience…not the dictates of my faith community.
While I understand your position on the “one issue”…I don’t embrace it. More is at stake than abortion…other issues have as much importance IMO…OR…are far more reaching in “causing harm” by a Republican in office at the moment…I will vote my conscience as I am led to.Few “laws” can be passed at the federal level to restrict abortion. However the appointment of surpeme court justices can have a major effect.
Has there been a president that has done more to FUND abortions both in the US or abroad than the current holder of the office?
Name the lessor It’s either business as usual…OR taking a chance that someone else WILL put the brakes on Mr Obamas’ Pro-abortion industry …]In my opinion…more harm would be done to others IF a Republican gets into office than a Democrat…I do not have the constraints placed upon me by an ecclesiastical body that requires me to be a “one issue voter”…Sometimes we must choose the “lesser of two evils”…
AND what are those that Mr Obama has successfully achieved?I vote for the canidate I feel best would lead this country and secure the welfare of all it’s citizens…
There is NO shade of gray …when murdering the most defenseless of society.difficult choices must be made at time that do not carry with it a “black” or “white” stance…most are “shades of grey”…
I weigh how one treats the defenseless of humanity…IT’S a good measure of the person and persons core values.I weigh the “most harm” vs the “most good” and make my choice accordingly
nope!!!few “laws” can be passed at the federal level to restrict abortion. However the appointment of surpeme court justices can have a major effect.

Actually, I knew it was wrong to kill - before I understood Catholicism.Again friend…I am not a “one issue” voter…you must vote your conscience…or if your religious community puts restraints on how and for whom you may vote for…I understand…I will vote my conscience.
Peace to you friend.
If the sick do not have adequate, affordable healthcare, they could die. If the hungry do not have food, they could die. If the homeless do not have shelter, they might die. If the marginalized or less fortunate are faced with choosing between food on the table for their children or taking their prescription medication, they could die. If the environment is not protected, God’s creation could die. As George W Bush convinced us that Iraq had WMD, I recall watching the bombs beginning to drop. And people were killed. Peace. Not one of these outweighs “killed”, though, does it?
I agree with you. God BlessIf the sick do not have adequate, affordable healthcare, they could die. If the hungry do not have food, they could die. Here’s a negative sign of Obama’s re-election chances.

Bold Lettering mine.Again friend…I am not a “one issue” voter…**you must vote your conscience…**or if your religious community puts restraints on how and for whom you may vote for.…I understand…I will vote my conscience.
Peace to you friend.
No they very well might believe it. But they realize others have different religious and faith beliefs on this very personal, private issue. As well as different political beliefs existing as to whether women have the right to choose and whether abortion should be a legal option for women in some cases. They realize a democratic society attempts to come up with a law of the land as Roe has been for nearly 40 yrs now. And as they understand any law on this issue is never going to satisfy every segment of such a diverse population, they struggle with the idea of forcing their beliefs about this issue onto others in such a democracy of plural beliefs.Maybe they do not truly believe life begins at conception?
Friend…I am not looking for “rewards” from God…I am seeking to obey Him as led by the Light Within…I vote as led by a formed conscience as I best understand the issues…issues…not “issue”…it is my belief that what will be best for this country and it’s citizens is a second term for President Obama…how your church instructs you to vote is between you and your church…I must vote my conscience.Bold Lettering mine.
Nimzovik Responds:
Friend**?** Do you not fear that our Lord sees the horrific issue of ‘Christians’ killing their very own children? Does not your God see that the Holy Spirit is, via Abortion, is being assailed as evidenced by Luke Chapter 1: v15 ? "For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and he will not drink wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb."
Bold Lettering Mine
Does not your conscience desire to stop this great evil? This evil which is at the rate of 4.5 million lives annually world wide? See here: worlddeathclock.com/ 4,000 daily in our nation alone? Is this how you see Health Care?
Friend - how is it possible for your Lord to reward such behavior? Is not the President subject to the laws of God? Will God be mocked? Methinks not.
