Links: call up- “Two Streams of Manuscripts”, also “God Wrote Only One Bible” on Google or most any other search engine will do. Then surf, surf, surf. Then run: " When Bishoprics and Papal rings were for sale".What about the Dead Sea Scrolls? This are as original to the time of Jesus as possible
Could you provide links?
Nothing curious about it. They were burned because they were not authorized by the Church and contained errors. (see ref. “Wicked Bible,” “Murderer’s Bible,” etc.)
Many modern translations were revered (Douay Rheims). The first Bible printed on the Gutenberg press was a Catholic version in German.
Yes it is possible. Show me proof. Not true in many cases. That’s why they needed to be corrected.
Could you elaborate?
There is a preponderance of evidence that when the Church at Jerusalem was scattered with the rest of the population in A.D. 70, that the gospel went to the uttermost parts. The Holy City was leveled, razed, burned to the ground–including the Temple. Surely the Word of God went with them. Copies showed up in the North of Italy, France and England; middle east and far east too; Africa, Germany. The Word does not return void. Did they have all the canon? No. They had whatever God provided including the most important part: The Holy Spirit–the One who came at Pentecost was still indwelling, leading in all Truth, His Church–He still does.
All the glory goes to God. We are all depraved and corrupted in everything we do. God said what He meant, meant what He said. Whether we believe it or not is irrelevant.
