Racial profiling in law enforcement scenarios can leave you dead - racial profiling in an educational institution might simply leave you unlearned…The difference isn’t really that subtle.

A hoodie is a lot different than a Hell’s Angel patch! It isn’t a hoodlum stereotype any more than a white t-shirt is!

If you go to a high school football game in November in New Jersey, you’ll see the mothers and fathers of parents wearing hoodies, you’ll see assistant coaches in hoodies, and you’ll the players leave locker rooms in hoodies. Its a common article of clothing and to make judgments based on that is foolish.

Maybe it is the case that real life is complicated and the “good guys” and “bad guys” don’t make it convenient by wearing color-coded hats.

Yep. The witness protection program was another thought that occurred to me when his attorneys said they’d lost contact with him. That and that someone got to him OR he himself couldn’t take any more pressure and did something rash. I know some of this sounds rather out there, but sometimes truth is stranger than fiction, case in point, the Susan Powell case.

Yes. I am normal person who knows right from wrong, hoodlum from good kid, and protects his house…

What would you do if hoodlums were in front of your house? Just sit there like an idiot and let your family be in danger? You disgust me.

So you would leave your house to physically attack someone because you think that they are dressed like scum?

As far as I know, I am not a member of the New Black Panthers and neither is Spike Lee (has he even said anything about this?) or Al Sharpton. And I haven’t threatened anybody’s life. All I want is the case to go to trial.

would tell you that personal attacks are not ever allowed.

The notion of saying “You disgust me” on a Catholic
site does make me wonder if you are a troll.

Why don’t you enlighten us all as to who or what your friend is. This tragic incident as with other incidents involving murder especially involving different races of people appears to bring out very strong feelings on both sides, I have seen exactly the same thing in the UK and having lived in many countries in Africa, there too. One thing I have noticed is that all rational debate is ended when someone brings up the race card, now why is that? Very recently 2 white British lads were murdered by a young black lad, in the USA, anyone on this site heard about them? If not why not? All murder should be abhorrent, surely.Do you think the politicians use race to stir us all up, looks that way, time we stopped playing their game.

Hijacking is a crime; security measures to prevent it are obviously related to law enforcement. Not sure why racial profiling would be used in airline security either; various races have been involved in international terrorism, to my knowledge…

Your lack of logic is astounding.
Poorer people can NOT dress “as well” as wealthier people.
Most teens (and nearly all toddlers) wear hoodies.

Hoodies are cheap, warm and washable.
Are you suggesting that hoodies are “BAD?”
