No, but I would feel pretty dumb if I had not used my phone to call 911 in that circumstance.

Remember, he apparently had time to make a call to his girlfriend.
Do you know if he first noticed the man while he was still on the call to his girl? Not sure we have enough information to know what he had time to do, but the call was apparently interrupted by the confrontation. If I were in the situation of being followed at night by a stranger, within running distance of my home, I’d not be waiting around for the police to come - that’s for sure.

And just to add to that post, the amazing thing is that - as is typical of all leftists - they have decided to attack me rather than the message I originally brought. Thats the typical tool of leftists race baitors: When losing the argument, attack your oppnonent.

Once again, you guys disgust me. Report that.
When your account is inevitably blocked for rule violations will you then admit that you did indeed violate the rules?

*Yes. They make people look like thugs, just like spandex or super-short skirts make girls look like sluts.
What the heck is wrong with you. Wake up and smell the coffee*
These people look like thugs to you?

Oh, does a picture make it true? Okay:

(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

He looks nice

You are a perfect example of why kids are all screwed up these days

And BTW: I never mentioned his color, you race baitor

Lujack is a tyical leftwing racebaitor
No he’s not. he is a committed catholic who views things from the progressive viewpoint. I disagree with lot of what he says but dont doubt his sincerity nor are there any indications he is a race baitor

Lovely, seekerz.
Well, it’s obvious he needs our assistance. We have all grated on each other’s nerves at some point, but never to the point that a little cooling off period didn’t help and I honestly don’t ever remember it getting so unpleasant.

I never violated any rule. I only upset liberal racist extremists
Perhaps you missed it, but calling people “liberal racist extremists” IS a rule violation, EVEN IF TRUE.

Also, you neglected to actually answer my question. In psychology, we call this a classic misdirect. An answer to a yes or no question should include either yes or no. Avoiding answering as you have done suggests that the question makes you uncomfortable because it does not fit in the world view you are espousing.

Total agreement, bob.

I am happy to say that I have not violated any of these rules. All I did is ruffle the feathers of leftwing race baitors, and I will continue to do so.
You would do well to reevaluate your posting style. Our CAF mods do a very good job in making sure the rules of discussion are followed. While you personally may not think you have violated the rules, it is apparent others disagree with your assessment. Someone indicated that they reported you. That means your posts will be looked at closely. If I were you and if I wished to continue discussions here, I would have a care.

More than one reported him,
since I did also. His account
is now marked ‘under review.’

Take a statistics course.😉
I have - more than once. Perhaps I’m just incurable or perhaps there have indeed been people of Middle Eastern, Asian, African and Caucasian descent, involved in international terrorism…Hmm, I wonder which it is?

Um no.

I’m a Catholic GOPer too and you have just been added to my ignore list for your complete lack of charity in posting and name calling of other posters.

I don’t see any games here; this is serious stuff. Black kids who kill generally get charged and arrested - I assume that’s how it works across the pond as well, no?

There’s nothing wrong in discussing racial profiling because I’m pretty sure “young white males” don’t get stopped as suspects without a definite reason more than their age/race combination: here or in your neck of the woods. That is the real debate from my perspective. Racial profiling, as I have repeated incessantly, may or may not be related to racism but that is neither here or there. Whether a person hates my race or not, the point is they shouldn’t be able to use it as an excuse to make everyone who looks like me a criminal suspect. S’all I’m saying.
Over the pond people who kill generally get charged and arrested. You most certainly have a point with racial profiling, something we all need to understand why this happens and how to prevent it, could the country have a responsible discussion about it without the politicians interfering and spoiling it ? All I am saying is there are huge numbers of young people murdered, every one of these kids death is a tragedy and you especially should be concerned why only some make the headlines and not all.

I don’t care if that is right or wrong, that is simply the way it is.
Iknow this, but we are multi-cultural and no everyone equates this type of dress with crime. Also, we we do make these errors in judgements and our prejudicial assumptions result in death, then we are held accountable to answer for our actions, in every state except Florida. Even police officers here that kill someone, or even homeowners who kill someone will have the information given to a grand jury. This was two guys on the street neither of which had criminal intent when they went out.

For the one who does make such assumptions, St. James says that they make themselves judges with evil intent. As Christians, we are not allowed to judge based on clothing.

Texas has a stand your ground provision ( IE no duty to retreat) written into it’s castle doctrine law.
It does not apply to two strangers on the street. That is why it is called a castle law. Outside one’s home, one has the duty to retreat first and is not allowed to use deadly force to stand on one’s ground in public.
