I know not to ask anymore, that’s for sure. God bless, and I mean that.
Same old mantra?
Looked new to me.

***Depends on the boy, on my health,
on the circumstances, on my options -
on so many variables.

I’m a 66 yr-old woman with rheumatoid arthritis.
I’m CERTAIN I would not be outside, trailing any
person who was a stranger on a rainy night ***

Really. NEW.
Still, whatever.
Have it your way.
No problem to me.

Gun vs. Skittles… hmmm… oh wait, Skittles AND an iced tea… yeah… that iced tea made all the difference I think.

Seriously, if I thought a man wearing a hoodie, eating skittles and drinking iced tea was a “suspicious character”, I’d have to avoid my husband… and pretty much half of the city.

I own three hoodies

The prejudice on both sides of this tragedy is unbelievable! Racism is a horrible act however, manufactured racism is worse. If the facts bear out racism and/or a crime, then justice should be enacted and addressed. The shameful remarks about Mr. Zimmerman and especially Mr. Martin and his family are aweful. We should be praying for the soul of this young man, his family and Mr. Zimmerman. Anyone who thinks they have all the facts of this case to render a judgement is simply wrong. IMHO. Would it not be prudent to allow the process to play out with patience, without speculation and possible falsehoods which only adds to the tragedy?

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us…
Blessed Mary, mother of peace, pray for us…
All angels and saints, pray for us…

Peace,
T

Really? Shooting someone doesn’t result in arrest? Then why were the DC snipers arrested?
Because they committed crimes. If the police had probable cause that Zimmerman committed a crime, he would have been arrested.

Florida logic. The more you learn about Florida, the less you’ll want to visit 🙂

It is simple. An unarmed kid was shot by an armed man. That’s all the probable cause needed.
So anytime an unarmed 17 year old 6 foot 3 inch child is shot, the person that shot him MUST be arrested. Because there is always enough probable cause if that happens?

How about an old woman shoots someone trying to rape her…does she have to be arrested?

Or a pregnant women shooting someone breaking into her house…does she have to be arrested?

Or a man who is having his head beaten against the pavement…🤷

Apples and oranges. You’re talking about self defence. Zimmerman shot an unarmed kid. That is not defence and even if Martin was trying to be physical with him, killing him with a gun is excessive force and worthy of prosecution

Zimmerman shot a 17 year old, 6 foot 3 inch “kid” that was on top of him pounding his head into the concrete. How many slams should Zimmerman have taken before he could use his weapon?

At least you’re willing to admit that Trayvon may have started a physical altercation with him. Unfortunately, the law obviously disagrees with you. IF and only if the police find enough to make an arrest, will this be prosecuted.

And another thing; Martin was around 140 lbs and Zimmerman is about 250lbs. How could a kid much smaller than him honestly beat him up?
