Does this mean that 200 years ago 94% of people didnt live in extreme poverty and now 10% of people do?

It would seem to me that this would be a step backwards

Interesting, what is also interesting to me…that this vacation house with a wall. Has been burglarized twice, apparently in spite of having a wall.

Not really a ringing endorsement of properties with walls. In fact I would say the wall failed. Not once but twice.

That I don’t know. I’ve only crossed twice and it seemed easy. Things may have changed though.

That’s because the wall is only part of the equation. Her security system did allow the police to come and scare of the burglar, who came back the next day.

One burglar in past 10-20 yrs sounds like whatever she is doing is working fairly well.

Why would the disabled cross a river and climb hills and go through heavy brush??? My DH is disabled and would NOT be able to do ANY of that!!! He would be able to go through a port of entry…big beautiful gate…!
 
Why doesn’t the US just take over those corrupt countries as territories and begin to rule there???
 
If those crossing the southern border were permitted to cross as those from Canada.

Canadians need just a passport.

Mexicans need a passport and a travel visa issued by the US.

Change that, and they can be here legally with a passport.

Funny thing is US citizens don’t need s Mexican travel visa. We can just go to Mexico with a passport.

Adding. When I went to Canada, my passport wasn’t stamped. When I came home it wasn’t stamped.

Because we, the people in those sovereign nations have zero intention to become anybody’ s territory.
And that is why we have also been fighting ,praying,working ,and going through hardships for a lifetime out of love for our homelands where we were born and grew up…and have our families,friends,communities, and so much more.to the extent of our possibilities and strength .Sometimes with very little light at the end of the tunnel,but hopeful always. Thanks God.
