Wow! Watching MSNBC! Good for you. You may have noticed that the host at 9:00 is Stephanie Ruhl. Not a he.
I was not referring to a host on MSNBC. I was referring to the host at an event in Canada where Obama was speaking. Only Obama and the host were seated onstage.
Obama had his usual suave, debonair and self-important look. He just can’t stay
away from the world stage.

But yet, he still gets invited. There is a movement to rescind the invite for Trump to visit London. Sad.

Obama doesn’t seem to realize he is no longer president. He cannot survive without
being on the world stage. He craves the attention and adoration. That is what is sad.
He and Hillary are both lost souls.

They also banned Michael Savage from England.
The mayor had his feelings hurt. So this is his revenge.

The movement to rescind the invite started before the terrorist incident. Trumps tweets just fortified the movement. The revenge came from Trump. He didn’t like what the mayor said last summer and has been holding a grudge ever since. I don’t remember the incident but I’m sure it can be easily googled. Trump said the mayor needed an IQ test. During the midst of the terror crisis he let the tweet fly. Not very presidential. If I didn’t know better, I might suspect it had something to do with the mayor’s ancestry.

You are right. You don’t know better.

Mr. Savage was added to a list of 22 individuals banned from the U.K. on May 5, 2009, under former Prime Minister Gordon Brown. The best-selling author and National Radio Hall of Fame inductee was accused of fostering hatred for his comments on immigration and Islam, earning him a spot on the list that included Hamas terrorist leader Yunis Al-Astal and former Ku Klux Klan grand wizard Stephen Donald Black.

So they do have a thorough vetting process!

It is true that the mayor of London is Muslim, and I think we would be fooling ourselves if we thought that fact did not play some role in the harsh words uttered by Trump. In addition, however, Trump has an impulsive personality so he says, or tweets, whatever comes to his mind at the moment with virtually no self-censorship. Some people like that about him; but it is, as you say, really nonpresidential behavior, and potentially dangerous as well.

Yes and look where we are today in England. 3 terrorist attacks in as many months.
I would say Michael Savage’s views were prophetic.

Britons plan mass-mooning for Trump visit
Britons angry about the upcoming visit by US President Donald Trump are mounting a rearguard action to make it as embarrassing as possible.

In true Braveheart style, they’re planning to moon him.

A number of posts are being shared on social media with the hashtag #ShowYourRumpToTrump, in the wake of Mr Trump’s controversial comments on the recent London Bridge terror attack.

After what has happened in England the last 3 months, they should have more serious
things to worry about than the welcome Trump will get. That says a lot about their
culture. Thank goodness the colonies won!

It seems like they retain their sense of humor through difficulties. Maybe that’s a lesson we can learn.

I call that immature and juvenile. Not unlike Kathy Griffin.
Those are lessons we do not need to imitate. I call that tasteless and vulgar.
How would they like that if we greeted the Queen in that manner when she set foot in
America.

I’ve never defended Kathy Griffin. I doubt the Queen would have started a twitter war with anyone. (Nor would her descendants) Don’t even try to compare our president with their queen.

If you think that is tasteless and vulgar, you should research the political cartoons that are seen in the world’s newspapers. You’ll be asking for smelling salts.

You didn’t answer my question. Would they like their Queen greeted in like manner on a trip to the U.S.? The Queen is a representative of England and Trump is a representative of America. Piers Morgan also took the mayor to task.

Trump does not represent all of America. He behaved in a boorish manor. Who cares what Piers Morgan says. I don’t even know who he is. Let the British population have their say. If they want to moon Trump so be it. You voted for him; you deal with it. .

How very snarky and rude!
