There are various media reports going back months saying that FISA requests were made.

But Trump is the president. Why would he rely for his information on any media reports? Why would he publically accuse another president of a crime based on media reports? As president, he could investigate any allegations and get real facts and take real actions. Why repeat rumors when you can actually find the facts and take action?

Trump even admitted there was no “proof.” It was just another one of his rants. For those of you who voted for him, you’ve got what you deserve. Normal Americans don’t. We will obstruct everything he does. He’s a mental case. You trailer-trash who voted for him thinking he will get you better paying jobs will experience how he used you to win (even though he didn’t - most people voted for Hillary). You will now see what it’s like to live in a Hunger-Games society and culture where the mega-wealthy use workers as slaves. Well, at least, women won’t get abortions and gays can’t be married.

As to your last sentence, not exactly. The current President said on 60 Minutes that gay marriage is a settled issue and as far as abortion goes, he said even if it is sent back to the states, a woman can just go to another state for a legal one.

Also, for those who doubt this, if you were President Obama and thought that Trump was in collusion with Russia and possibly going to become President, could you not justify a wire tapping to better determine whether or not he was in actual collusion with Russia before possibly assuming the Presidency?

Which is why I do not doubt it. The real problem is the conflict of interest considering Obama campaigned and was in the tank for Clinton, so a wiretapping easily gives inside information to use against Trump in the campaign.

One might also ask why any of us rely on media reports? Far too many of us, on both sides of the aisle, are too quick to jump on reports, rumors, etc. that give credence to our own beliefs without waiting to see what the actual facts are. Makes me not want to come back to the forum as it is increasingly depressing.

Trumps latest tweeted accusation is just another attempt to take the heat off himself. The credence to Trump’s claims lie in the fact that there were two FISA applications and one which named Trump, these are facts not claims. FISA = counter surveillance.

If you want to call someone a rapid liar back up your statements with facts.

Trump’s tweet is to inform the public of the dirty politics and witch hunt against him.

The only corruption and drama is from the Democrats who keep crying about Russia and attacking Trump on every little thing he does or say. They are acting like children all because Hillary lost.

Regarding the FISA applications only two people could have ordered them. This is either Loretta Lynch or Sally Yates. The WH just didn’t want a paper trail to them, but who do you think ordered either one of them to do it? Not difficult to figure out. The chance Obama’s Department of Justice decided to ask a FISA court to wiretap Trump & Obama didn’t know? <0%.

Not dumb at all. Trump can’t disclose what was in the FISA application or warrant. He can’t provide proof at this time because it’s classified! He’s probably working on getting it de-classified, the wire-tapping may still be going on as well. We don’t know if it expired.
