The Trump administration really does have a problem with leaks. There is a new article in the Washington Post with the title, “Inside Trump’s fury: The president rages at leaks, setbacks and accusations.” The article makes him sound a little unhinged with statement like, “Trump was mad — steaming, raging mad.” And then it says:

“This account of the administration’s tumultuous recent days is based on interviews with 17 top White House officials, members of Congress and friends of the president, many of whom requested anonymity to speak candidly.”

Hardly any of the MSM articles I’ve read about contacts between Trump’s people and the Russians have said that there is any proof that anything illegal took place. Most of them have admitted that these might have been perfectly innocent meetings. It’s the Trump people who have been acting suspiciously as if they had something to hide. Why else would they have had the Russian ambassador come for a secret meeting at Trump Tower? He didn’t come in the front entrance where he might have been seen by reporters. Instead, he was admitted secretly by a side entrance. And then there was Sen. Session’s evasive answers about contacts between people connected to the Trump campaign with the Russians at his confirmation hearing. He should have disclosed his own meetings with the Russian ambassador.

According to The Telegraph, Mike Flynn and Jared Kushner were at the meeting with the Russian ambassador at Trump Tower, post-election in December. I don’t know if it is esbalished fact that the ambassador came through a back entrance. The telegraph article says “reportedly”.

How many other meetings with ambassadors or officials have been left undisclosed? Maybe many. I doubt every meeting that had happened at Trump tower has been disclosed as to those that attended and presumably there is not a legal requirement that the participants of every meeting has to be disclosed.

More anonymous sources… there seem to be reports of what anonymous sources are saying to the media on a regular basis, is there not? Where do these anonymous sources find the time to do there actual jobs?

The Russian ambassador sat in public with the Democrats, not in a private meeting. The Russian ambassador met in private with Jared Kushner and Mike Flynn at Trump Tower and with Sen. Sessions in his office. There is a difference.

Reading reports that the FISA application rejected initially in June was appealed to the FISA review court and successfully appealed - by ALL Clinton appointee judges. Some reports saying the meeting on the tarmac with Loretta Lynch in June could have also been about this as well.

Remember the IRS target of Conservatives were the outcome was no crime. I wouldn’t doubt if Obama and Clinton weaponized the Justice Department to go after Trump; just as Obama had done to Conservatives…

How cute, pivoting to try to make this about the meetings per se; meetings are fine if the content is proper.

So did these Democrats lie about the meeting? Did they attempt to cover it up? Have they claimed amnesia about the what was discussed? Did they assert that nothing improper was discussed then backtrack to saying only that they don’t recall? Did they fumble like this while the was a discussion of potentially illicit contacts?

I noticed you did not cite any references for the “reports” you have been reading. “Some say” is not a very reliable source either. Do you have any more support for Trump’s irresponsible allegations than he did (which is none)?

It’s all over alt-right sites and boards. No reports - just speculation and conspiracy theorizing. Many put the initial FISA application after the WJC Lynch meeting - although that meeting was June 27, Some say that HRC’s October 31 tweet on the on the Russian Trump tower computer connection prove that she had inside info on the October FISA; they neglect to note that the story went public that day in Slate.
