Trump accuses Obama administration of wiretapping Trump Tower phones

What’s even more sad is reading other Catholics supporting former President Obama, democrats, progressives and their culture of death. They ramped up abortion efforts, partial birth abortion efforts, wouldn’t provide care to babies that survived an abortion attempt, sold baby parts, promoted gay/lesbian marriage, created a war against our beloved police officers, and stirred up racial divide like I’ve never seen in my lifetime. The liberal platform does NOT coincide with my Catholic beliefs.

And some who are neither Repub nor Dem, like myself, think he probably is, though he certainly could be mistaken or misled on some facts.

On the contrary, most of the criticisms of Trump here involve not his conviction, but whether or not he formed his belief on good information. I haven’t seen too many criticisms of him as lying, just misinformed from certain people. Frankly, I think there is a lot more to come from this whole thing, and no one posting here has sufficient insight into the actual facts or what was done.

But as president you need to be aware of the facts.

The other he tweeted that Obama had released 122 prisoners from Gitmo when Bush had released 113.

He got that info from fox and friends.

So? I was asserting that most criticisms on here were that he got his facts from dubious sources, not that he was lying. I believe he believes (or did) that Trump Tower was wire-tapped. The criticisms from those who disagree were that he was acting on bad reports, not that he was lying.

Seems like at this point, as POTUS, he would have the intelligence and foresight not to negligently tweet “so-called facts” without double checking the source. It’s common sense; something they teach you in a high school English class.

That is why it smacks of lying. I do not think the man is that stupid. At least, I hope he is not.

The man gets his info from Fox. Fox is very right leaning and false on so many issues.

I wouldn’t be too sure about that. The kinds of people Trump has dealt with for years have very sharp elbows. Probably some have been every bit as clever and rough as Putin, some perhaps more.

I am not presently willing to concede that Putin is a sharper dealer than, say, the people who run Deutchebank, who Trump trounced when they tried to loot him. Putin is just able to kill people with impunity, while the people at Deutschebank can’t.
