Trump calls out Biden on religion

It’s a shame people can’t understand the whole thing about teaching a man to fish.
It requires a lot of resources to teach man to fish, especially the big fishes to give the college education to the child or to raise twins or even triplets. Do you consider that? Who is more fish-teaching friendly? Trump or Biden?

Objectively speaking Trump, considering Biden doesn’t care if you murder the person you’re trying to teach to fish.

Because at some level, if a woman has a baby instead of having an abortion, she’s going to have to do something to actually provide for the baby
Many (most?) women go above and beyond to provide for their children, sacrificing self and working to the bone. As for the person wanting the world, considering the site you were on this isn’t surprising. I can only speak from my tiny corner of the world, but of all the women I’ve encountered in my practice as a psychologist and victim advocate, nearly all are willing to do what it takes to keep a baby, and even then it feels impossible–the current resources aren’t enough, including healthcare. But that’s a whole other discussion.

Is that what you are getting at?

The Traditional solution is to give women everything they need to raise a child, to the best of one’s ability. They do not have to earn money, they were relieved of all financial responsibilities. They could just stay home and raise the children.

Don’t you think children are worth that much?

Hmmm, seems there’s an unspoken figure here providing all those things isn’t there?

That’s an “are you still beating your wife?”-type question.

Every life is priceless…but who’s going to pay the bill for raising every life? The taxpayers? How much should each mom receive? Should the government just print money & hand it to them? My questions are not rhetorical.

Aren’t we discussing this statement? I really don’t know what you are trying to say?
I had a debate with one of the women on Imnotsorry where she literally wanted her entire life paid for in exchange for carrying a baby to term.

Seems like the best answer such proponents can come up with is a complete substitute for the one thing that provides stability and balance to a family: a father.

It doesn’t matter. It’s done. The woman is pregnant. (If you want to blame HER for becoming pregnant, do you equally blame HIM?) And if a man does his ‘part’ then walks away, does he not also share the burden of an abortion (if one is obtained) since his departure is a huge component of a woman in a hopeless situation?

Believe me, I fear God. But I also believe in His overwhelming mercy. He knows all of the details and @arvo is right–God does consider all circumstances surrounding a sin when judging guilt.

Yes we are. Which is why I found it strange you seemed to be advocating for exactly what that crazy individual thought she was owed.

I believe it’s more “I don’t want the responsibility,” or “I don’t want to give up my carefree (and sex-filled) lifestyle.”
WRONG. Certainly there are some cases of this, but it’s the minority. Stats are out there if you care to research.

I was just pointing out the traditional solution. Women were “given everything” in a financial sense, support from the birth of the child through adulthood. You seem to think they should be given less than that? Or am I misreading you?

I’ve never understood the need for some pro life proponents and even pro abortion proponents to prove that most cases of abortion are of women in trouble. Is it to be more PC?

According to the Guttmacher Institute (who I’m not sure I believe), 74% of abortions were procured
because “having a child would interfere with a woman’s education, work or ability to care for dependents.” In other words, lifestyle.

It is not the responsibility of the taxpayer or the church to fund “everything” a child needs. Those are the responsibilities of the parents, plural. Can the church and state help? Yes. But neither of those have unlimited resources.

I do not think she was crazy, but I am advocating for her. Her request is not out of line with the traditional support given to women with children. I do not understand why they would not ask for that from whoever is preventing her from aborting.
