People keep telling me that the Republicans haven’t done anything … but not in the way you’re talking about.
 
I don’t agree with everything that Trump says, but I think he may be onto something with his comment “the shackles have been taken off me”. I get the very strong impression that he is now acting the way he wanted to act all along.

I figured that meant he got his phone back and is being allowed to use Twitter without limit.

Make no mistake, I am voting for him because Clinton is evil and two words: SUPREME COURT. You ask “for what?” Simple. He’s a megalomaniacal narcissist. He loves to hear himself prattle on with nonsense. I worked for a guy like this for a number of years, I observe that people like this really think that others love them so much that they will want to do things that are not in their own self interest simply because the nut wants it.

I think we ought to dip our finger in the indelible ink jar to prove we voted so at least we can only vote once… (that doesn’t take care of the folks who are not legal to vote… but it would help maybe… !

Maybe but I wouldn’t advise her to simply run out the clock. Trump still has a huge base and is not giving up.

I’m not sure that really makes sense :o, but I’ll concede that his parents probably could have been a little less permissive than they were. (I say probably because I don’t truly know.)

I don’t think the Hillary is simply running out the clock. I think she’s continuing to scare people over the possibility of a Trump presidency, in order to get more Democrats registered to vote, but also to increase the chance of a Democratic congress.

The ability to control funding can only impact so much. Plus, legislatively, they would have had to have had a super majority to override presidential vetoes. Because they did not have super majorities, they couldn’t override vetoes.

They have tried to the extent possible to thwart his agenda but he has simply resorted to the most breathtaking executive actions since TR. The overreach, backed by an ultra-liberal and anti-Constitutional judiciary, has been impossible to stop.

They haven’t had a super anything for years. With whatever respect is due Mr. Boehner and Mr. Ryan (both Catholic) what predation on the Church have they even attempted to forestall? Ryan will be overrun by a Clinton presidency.

The Congress REFUSES to do a real-life, actual, budget.

Instead they just do continuing resolutions.

Well, the election is only three weeks away.
