Of course not. If it had anything to do with Clinton, he could have fired him Jan 20. This is May.Something tells me imprisonment of Hillary Clinton isn’t the imprisonment he was concerned about in firing Comey.

The latter “half” would be the ones who would still support this guy even if he shot someone on Fifth Ave.Half the country is probably glad. The other half will just put it in the queue of “what can we say to make the Trump Administration look bad today” news slot.
Personally, I don’t think he should have kept him on in the first place and believe it would’ve eventually turned into a very bad mistake.
Maybe not but Trump supporters certainly liked the red meat Comey threw at them. There’s Reason to be Skeptical of the Comey Effect
But it’s now clear that Mrs. Clinton was weaker heading into Oct. 28 than was understood at the time. Several other polls were conducted over the same period that showed Mr. Trump gaining quickly on Mrs. Clinton in the days ahead of the Comey letter. And the timing of these polls — particularly the gap between when they were taken and when they were released — has probably helped to exaggerate the effect of Mr. Comey’s letter on the presidential race.
So maybe Comey didn’t hurt Clinton’s chances.
I agree.Honestly I liked him. When both sides attack you, that’s a good sign he’s just doing a good job.
And he didn’t even have the decency to do it in person or at least when Comey wasn’t out of town. What a COWARD. “Repugnant” doesn’t even begin to cover it.Another repugnant move by the most repugnant administration in my lifetime.
“Trustworthy” = will help lock up Hillary.I think he is still cleaning up from the Obama administration.
We need an FBI director that doesn’t flip flop. I think Trump wants someone who is steadfast and trustworthy. Personally, I didn’t really trust Comey. Obama hired him
in 2013.
Yep, names and insultsAnd he didn’t even have the decency to do it in person or at least when Comey wasn’t out of town. What a COWARD. “Repugnant” doesn’t even begin to cover it.
“Crooked Hillary” isn’t names & insults?Yep, names and insults
I never said Crooked Hillary. That was someone else“Crooked Hillary” isn’t names & insults?
You could say that. Earlier in the day it was reported that he was ready to admit that Weiner didn’t send “hundreds and thousands” of emails to his wife.We need an FBI director that doesn’t flip flop.
Trump tagged her as “Crooked Hillary.” Common knowledge. He also promised to lock her up. Also common knowledge.I never said Crooked Hillary. That was someone else
He wanted to lock her up for deleting emails. But she didn’t delete them. Not for lack of trying though.Trump tagged her as “Crooked Hillary.” Common knowledge. He also promised to lock her up. Also common knowledge.

Isn’t it really up to the JUSTICE Department to get to the bottom of HRC’s mishandling of classified information? (I hate it when people refer to her actions as simple e-mails…!)Trump made abundantly clear he won’t lock her up. Move on.
Who is even going to look for a special prosecutor?Where are they going to find a real independent?
