So we have left the self-defense theory and gone to the defense of third-parties theory.

Careful, this could lead into you having to defend protesters, especially when/if they start saying they are just trying to protect someone else’s life, property, rights, or fill in the blank, and that is why they were in that state instead of at home in another state and why they carrying a weapon that would not be used by a serious hunter for hunting animals.

P.S. still don’t understand the surgical gloves, but maybe that is an elmer fudd/hunter part of the unform.

He drove 15 miles, plenty of people have longer commutes than that. I thought borders were just imaginary lines and no person is illegal anyway.

5.56 is a legal caliber to hunt with in WI. That is an irrelevant tangent however. Kyle Rittenhouse was not in violation of the WI law regarding minors possessing weapons.

I think Kyle was an EMT but my memory may be faulty on this point. His attorney claims he initially went up there unarmed to provide first aid to anyone who needed it. Gloves would be practical to avoid contact with hazardous substances.

So now you are supporting illegal immigration. Wow. You slid along that slip & slide faster than I expected.

BTW, I don’t support illegal immigration or illegal employment (prosecute more employers and the problem would go away. Separate issue, don’t want to beat that dead horse today) So you are barking up the wrong tree on that one with me.

I also don’t support professional protesters, whether they are bused in by the right or the left.

And finally, if he only lived 15 miles away, he should have stayed at home in case it started spreading.

Exposing leftwing talking points and their hypocrisy is not the same as support illegal border crossing.

Or cut out the cancer before it spreads.

Self-defense is not however. Tell that to the mob though, chasing Kyle down while yelling, “Get his a**!” That seems like hunting humans to me.

I think we have a different view of what happened. Hopefully the truth will eventually be known.

I hope you are not suggesting that we should find our nearest riot and go try to personally stop it.

I’m going to follow my mom’s advice from way back in the 60’s and stay as far away from any and all protests as I possibly can. Houses can be rebuilt and my name isn’t Lazarus.

So then you surely noticed that he fled before both incidents, tried to contact the police and refrained from shooting anyone not actually trying to harm him?

That is not how I saw it, but I understand that you are viewing through a particular lens and have made up your mind.

No, I watched the video with no idea of what to expect. Though I am interested. What specific actions in the video by Kyle lead you to the conclusion that he was “hunting humans”? Surely you can point to something concrete?

I will be donating to his defense and to GOA since they stuck up for him.

That suggestion came from you. I was reacting to you defending his actions by noting that the weapon he used was legal for hunting. That would only be relevant if you thought that was what he was doing.

It was another poster who brought up hunting, I just noted that it was an irrelevant tangent and corrected her erroneous impression of WI hunting laws.
