I did understand that.I will vote for Hillary Clinton if she’s the nominee.

Then please don’t clip my words to make it seem like I didn’t vote for Sanders. Although, on second thought, I really don’t care.I did understand that.
I have the same problem-how Catholics can vote for an avowed socialist who supports taxpayer funded abortion on demand and homosexual marriage. To be honest I used to be a Democrat-campaigned for George McGovern and voted for Carter in 1976. But in 1980 I started my own business and got involved in the pro-life ministry and could longer in good conscience remain in the party. It is sad because i am much closer to the Democrat Party on such issue as Immigration , the Death Penalty and Gun regulation but their full embracement of the culture of death makes it nearly impossible for a Catholic to find a Democrat they can licitly vote forI did understand that.
No matter, she’s a Democrat. That’s all that matters.People already committed to Hillary Clinton would not vote for Republicans no matter what.
At least the Repubs are doing their political machinations against each other. We don’t have to pay for them. On the other hand, the Clinton corruption is massive and we do have to pay for it. I’m not nearly so concerned about whether Cruz plays dirty political tricks on Trump or vice versa, as I am about a potential president who would endorse a sale of American uranium to Russia (thence to iran) in exchange for a huge “speaking fee” to Bill Clinton. spectator.org/articles/62626/clinton-cash-and-clinton-corruption
And how is it that George Soros knew the American government was going to loan millions of dollars for offshore drilling to Petrobras of Brazil, investing in it right before it happened. Oh yes, Soros is the big funder of Media Matters, which supports Obama and Clinton. Not too hard to figure that one out.
And, of course, there’s Hillary Clinton’s $600,000 “speaking fee” paid by Goldman Sachs. Not to her campaign, to her, personally. Does anybody really think that was for a speech?
For a man who brags endlessly about his deal-making skills, Donald Trump seems to know nothing about closing the deal on his latest venture.
Much like his unfortunate attempts at running a steak business and a university, Trump’s political machine has sky-high name recognition but a product that leaves a foul taste in your mouth.
Judging by his effort to wrangle loyal delegates to go to the Cleveland convention, Trump may be the most successful and least competent presidential candidate in living memory.
This weekend he was shut out of the delegate race in Colorado. And he somehow contrived to lose most of the delegates selected in South Carolina, where he ran away with the popular vote just two months ago.
theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/apr/11/donald-trump-losing-control-delegates-conventionThis is a pattern across the country. Behind the scenes, he’s losing the battle to control the convention delegates from Indiana, Georgia and Massachusetts. “We’ve got a corrupt system. It’s not right. We’re supposed to be a democracy,” he responded angrily at the weekend. “You vote and the vote means something. And we’ve got to do something about it.”
I think it was Gore Vidal. You mean it wasn’t Andrew Cuomo?
Ditto. I am a Democrat to the core on a lot of issues. But I feel like the party has declared war on me on social issues. Really out for blood. This is new. I blame it on Obama and I did not see that coming, I admit. Prolife, Catholic Democrats were tolerated if not listened to up to Obama. That is where the trouble really started, the war on religious liberty.I have the same problem-how Catholics can vote for an avowed socialist who supports taxpayer funded abortion on demand and homosexual marriage. I like Cruz, but he is starting in on flat taxes, etc. That is the “Reagonimics” stuff that scared me away from Romney/Paul. Crazy. I am a greenie, tree hugger too. I have never not voted before, but I am close to that here. What is odd is that I firmly believe there is actually a fairly large center of voters, left and right, suburbia, middle class families, etc. who are in this same place - totally disgusted (even scared) by Clinton, Sanders, Trump and Cruz. Both parties have gone to such extremes.
I feel that way about Republicans. No matter, she’s a Democrat. That’s all that matters.
This HAS to be a rhetorical question! How does Obama infringe on religious liberty?

No, it’s not. I don’t see him infringing on anyone’s religious liberty. I don’t think he does. This HAS to be a rhetorical question!
How does Obama infringe on religious liberty?
That is all I can think of right now. Will edit if anything else comes to mind.
- See Obamacare v. Little Sisters of the Poor
- Obamacare v. Hobby Lobby
- Kim Davis put in jail (as opposed to working out a compromise; compromise now being worked out with Republican governor; Democratic governor in office during Davis episode lost election)
- Gay Marriage imposed by Supreme Court, state bans by popular votes overturned
- Legislation against Christian individuals, institutions and/or businesses who decline to participate in gay marriages or adoption on religious grounds; individuals & businesses fined over $100,000, businesses, livelihood destroyed by courts
- Transgender militancy / activism, the next wave of gay rights activism
- Planned Parenthood in bed with Dems / prochoice activism (predates Obama)
- Failure to actively defend Middle East persecution of Christians; Obama never misses an occasion to chastise the sad, undeniable tendency of Christians to be intolerant bigots - usually this is part of a (now routine) speech given after an Islamic terrorist attack in the West, involving the death of Westerners
- (do you know that Easter is now called “Spring Sunday” in Washington State? Christmas is “Winter Holiday”)
And all that’s Obama’s fault? I don’t see it. He didn’t have anything to do with many of these things like Kim Davis, Washington State, etc., etc. More were the fault of Congress or the Supreme Court. That is all I can think of right now. Will edit if anything else comes to mind.

I believe all of this is a very direct result of the activities of the Obama administration, yes. Trickle down, the Democratic party and its activists on all levels. Political activists are greatly strengthened by whatever administration holds power, the legislation it supports, a friendly environment if you will. The Supreme Court is now activist on many liberal issues, overriding popular votes on legislation across the country. I believe this exceeds their “judicial” role in the three branches of the government as originally organized. That was the only way to get gay marriage through - shove it through, against the people (or “extreme religious bigots” if you prefer…depending on your viewpoint of course). And all that’s Obama’s fault? I don’t see it. He didn’t have anything to do with many of these things like Kim Davis, Washington State, etc., etc. More were the fault of Congress or the Supreme Court.
Ask Little Sisters of the PoorHow does Obama infringe on religious liberty?
So, in your case, perception is realityNo, it’s not. I don’t see him infringing on anyone’s religious liberty. I don’t think he does.
Your perception is your reality. Your neighbor’s perception is his reality. My perception is my reality. Are we all correct? Probably not. Our perceived reality does not always equal objective truth. So, in your case, perception is reality
Why is this only affecting the Little Sisters of the Poor? Why aren’t other religious complaining about it?Ask Little Sisters of the Poor
