Hmm. I hope the line isn’t going to be long with people who cannot actually vote in the primary. By the way this will be my first presidential primary. 😃
Interesting. I think Trump will finish with well over 50% though.

I am suggesting that the “wall” will be a necessary system using construction material
(probably steel) and electronic technology with human operation. When Trump says Mexico will pay for it - he means that financial means will provide. Mexico is the country in question and the security for our country has been appropriately the responsibility of the United States.

I for one can’t wait until President Trump amends and upends our trade agreements with Mexico and China – here’s to paying triple for goods in the future. Yay USA!

Why should we continue paying for poor quality merchandise when American people will take back their employment and produce quality. Lousy products (junk) made from poisonous plastics, cheap steel, and seafood, by people paid about a nickel an hour has flooded our markets for years. Mexico is governed by drug cartels and over taxed/regulated companies desert the US for, again, paying people about a dime an hour for assembly of products, fruits and vegetables that are contaminated due to third world sanitation and water. Trade policies of special interest and corrupt politicians are hopefully going to be undone. Go Trump - USA USA USA!

This sounds like a trump rally. 🙂

👍 Yep! Sounds a whole lot better than praising Socialists, Communists,
Atheists and Abortionists!

Let’s make America Great Again!

If Trump gets the nomination I may, for the first time in my life, sit out a presidential election
Is it OK for Roman Catholics not to vote in an election? I thought that Roman Catholics were morally obligated under pain of sin to vote:
CCC 2240
Submission to authority and co-responsibility for the common good make it morally obligatory to pay taxes, to exercise the right to vote, and to defend one’s country

I agree with you on this. I’m leery of anything “made in China,” and I’m willing to pay more to ensure more Americans have jobs.

I know- in the end I will hold my nose and vote

I feel similarly to you. I doubt the church teaches that one must vote even if both candidates have morally corrupt positions. In fact there was a referendum in Italy regarding IVF a number of years ago. Both positions were morally wrong, And the Bishops in Italy advised to not vote.

I might stay home. I might write someone in.

I’ll be voting Tuesday. I know I’m not voting for Mr. Trump. I haven’t decided yet.

When I voted in Illinois, candidates who had suspended there campaigns were still on the ballot. I initially had planned to vote for Rand Paul, and he was still on my ballot, but with him pulling out of the race I voted for Trump.

Might want to rethink some of the assumptions made here. First, why do many Americans pay for products made in China rather than demanding products made here in the US? It’s lovely if you can afford to do the latter – but many Americans can’t and they therefore shop at Wal-Mart. How might they afford to purchase only American-made goods under President Trump? Second, you do realize that Mexico is the largest supplier of fresh fruits and vegetables to the US, right? How do you propose to make up this difference once Americans can no longer afford to buy Mexican products?

I’m a week after you. I think I’ll vote Cruz, but I wouldn’t mind Kasich either. When I imagine a “ClinTrump” race in Nov … :o

However, at this point I believe it has become less a question of whether Trump can win the nomination, and more a question of how close he’ll come and hence of how much ammunition he will then have to hurt the GOP.

Whatever you say. Your personal experience in life under such governments would tell.

Do you thank God that you don’t live in the USA? In which paradise of London do you reside, if I may ask? Chelsea? Crystal Palace? West Norwood, perhaps across from the cemetery? Adjoining Dulwich? Or Brixton, where even the police dare not go?

Parts of Brixton have been gentrified since the bad old days of the 80’s, but other areas like Peckham, Hackney,Tottenham have gotten pretty scary.

I don’t understand how this is a response to concerns about murdering the family members of suspected terrorists or engaging in acts of terrorism, for example – both of which violate international law and (more importantly) Catholic teachings.
