There is no possibility whatever that Hillary Clinton is prolife. She would probably take the assertion as an insult, particularly if said in front of one of her NARAL or Planned Parenthood supporters.

Remember, she re-endorsed PP even after the sale of baby parts was revealed. And her mocking and laughing at the torture-killing of Khaddaffi was chilling. What all, one wonders, does she intend to make us change in our religion in order to suit her goals? We don’t know, and can’t know why, exactly, her conscience is so dead. But what we can know is that it’s beyond foolish for anyone to think such a person could possibly care about them or their well-being. If anyone could be described as “beyond good and evil”, it’s Hillary Clinton.

But people do that because they somehow persuade themselves that they’ll be among the few who remain standing after the ones they disdain are blown down.
She seems like quite a feminist to me, so yes, she probably is strongly pro-choice, but then I think Trump is, in reality, strongly pro-choice as well. I think that’s a big part of why we haven’t seen his tax returns yet. He probably paid little tax and supports PP and other pro-abortion groups. If he becomes the Republican nominee, though, he’s going to have to release those tax returns. All the candidates except Trump have released their tax returns. Trump refuses to release his, now saying they are being audited, but the IRS says even if they are, he can still release them. So that begs the question: What is Trump trying to hide?:

Imaginably you’re right about Trump, but it’s just a speculation based on what you expect his tax returns to say. There is no question at all what Hillary Clinton’s support for abortion is. It’s total.

If Trump was elected, he would at least have a constituency he would have to face if he went pro-abortion in action. Hillary Clinton’s constituency is as pro-abortion as she is, so she has no barriers to being the leader of pro-abortion forces.

And if I was being audited by the IRS I wouldn’t want people kibitzing over them until it was over with either. In today’s world, the IRS would find itself with all kinds of “helpers” who would give them their “information” about how this is wrong, that’s underestimated, etc. They’ll come out in due course.

But the likelihood is that Trump is neither prolife nor pro-abortion. I frankly doubt he has ever thought about it a great deal. That’s worthy of regret from my standpoint, but it is still better than a dedicated abortionist like Hillary Clinton. The man might actually convert to a prolife position even if encouraged by the prospect of not being re-elected. Hllary Clinton will never convert to prolife because she believes in abortion and is supported in that by her party.

Two citations from National Review by a Hillary Clinton supporter? 🙂 Will wonders never cease?

Making sure anyone who wants an education and can learn can get that education.

Making sure everyone in the US has affordable health care that covers medical, vision, and dental expenses. Too many people do not think dental health is a part of general health, but it is. And dentists’ fees have now rendered dental care something “only for the rich.” Even dental insurance doesn’t cover much but routine cleanings.

Making sure no one is homeless even if you have to take the homeless into your own home and feed and clothe them.

Making sure no on goes to bed hungry.

Making sure everyone has a bed!

Making sure jobs that pay a living wage are available to all.

I believe the pro-life movement, in advocating that all the unborn be brought into the world, are obligated to ensure all of the above even if they have to pay some of the bills personally.

And, please tell me how you know what I know about euthanasia? I’ve been a hospice volunteer all my grown life - so far. Please don’t make assumptions about what I know and what I don’t know and what I think. Thank you.
All of which is done by the pro-life movement.

I’m disappointed with Trump’s comments about North Carolina, and I’m sure many of his supporters are. From day 1 I liked many of Ted Cruz’s positions better than Trump’s, but I’m uncomfortable with many of the people who have come out and endorsed Cruz. When I look at those opposing Trump, I still feel comfortable with having voted for him.

Last Thursday, Planned Parenthood announced its endorsement of Hillary Clinton. The move marked the first presidential primary endorsement the abortion giant has ever made – but not everyone was happy with the endorsement, including some of Planned Parenthood’s own supporters.
This first of its kind endorsement has certainly gotten the media’s attention, with talk of the past, present, and future implications. Yahoo! News published a piece from AFP titled, “Planned Parenthood endorses Hillary Clinton in funding boon.” The abortion giant’s advocacy organizations plan to spend $20 million to elect her as President.

I’m not a Clinton supporter; I voted for Sanders. I’m still thinking of writing him in when the general comes around. It’s be a wasted vote, but at least I’d feel good about voting.

You could always ask Harry Reid to reveal leaks about them on the Senate floor.

Donald Trump amends stance on North Carolina transgender bathroom law

And the problem with what happened in North Carolina is the strife and the economic – I mean the economic punishment that they’re taking."
Economics trumps morality. Maybe the majority of the people feel the same as Trump, but I believe this is what is going to bring the U.S. down. When money becomes our god, God will leave us to ourselves and nothing good ever comes from that. This is also why I do not trust Trumps pro-life claims. I held my nose and voted for both McCain and Romney in the general, I just don’t know if I can do it again.

The words “I am pro-life” were music to my ears. Trust? I’m going to go for it because of his honest approach to the trouble we are in and the fact that he doesn’t owe “bought and paid for” positions. Those who think he is too rude and crude and belong to the backroom establishment have only their selfish interests at heart. Trump has had the experience of getting up close and knowing these backroom actors. He may not have the same depth of zeal to rid abortion in every matter, but its a big step forward. I can go with it. The party of death isn’t even up for consideration.

Other matters of honesty, integrity, patriotism, determination to make America great again! Who has a problem with that when we know what a mess we are going through?

You have stated your position well. But does it not matter to you that all polls say he cannot beat Hillary? Are you willing to take that chance?

The majority of the US has already chosen economics over morality. That’s why this country is such a mess. Some people say it’s the greatest in the world, but I’ve lived in five, and all of the other four were better than the US, not that I’m knocking the US. Considering some of the really bad countries, this one isn’t bad despite the self-indulgent craving for material goods that metaphorically consumes most people.

Trump also believes in abortion in certain cases that the Church does not approve of.

The majority of the US has already chosen economics over morality. That’s why this country is such a mess.
For example, choosing to favor free college, mandated health insurance, and subsidies to “wind farms” over any opposition to unrestricted abortion on demand…

We already have mandated health insurance, and I don’t see how those things equal materialism.

No, I mean people who insist on having a “Hummer house of 5,000 sq. ft. or more, two or three cars, private school for their children, the latest electronic gadgets, 70” TVs in every room, vacations to the Caribbean every winter, a boat in summer and ski trips in winter, etc., etc.

I suppose the US is the only first world country that has chosen economics over morality. Not-withstanding Belgian and the Netherlands with their suicide on demand laws.

And yet you choose to live here. 😉

Not really. I chose to be educated, in part, here. I fully intend to move back to Europe as soon as I can secure a teaching position there, or if I cannot, I’ll just up my PR business full time instead of part time.

If no one is coercing you, then you have made a free choice to live in a country where

Not surprised at all. I’ve been saying for months that he is a progressive.
He’s not conservative. But I think his supporters already know that, even the super conservative ones, and have no trouble with it, as another poster up the thread has pointed out.
I’d say he described himself well - a common sense conservative.

“Damning with faint praise” is, I believe, the proper term for this.

One would think one who found no fewer than four better countries to live in would have chosen one of them over the lowly fifth.
