There is no possibility whatever that Hillary Clinton is prolife. She would probably take the assertion as an insult, particularly if said in front of one of her NARAL or Planned Parenthood supporters.

Remember, she re-endorsed PP even after the sale of baby parts was revealed. And her mocking and laughing at the torture-killing of Khaddaffi was chilling. What all, one wonders, does she intend to make us change in our religion in order to suit her goals? We don’t know, and can’t know why, exactly, her conscience is so dead. But what we can know is that it’s beyond foolish for anyone to think such a person could possibly care about them or their well-being. If anyone could be described as “beyond good and evil”, it’s Hillary Clinton.

But people do that because they somehow persuade themselves that they’ll be aSmong the few who remain standing after the ones they disdain are blown down.
So you feel Hillary Clinton has no redeeming qualities whatsoever? Is she worse than Obama, in your view, who many here have also vilified? Is she a bad mother and grandmother and an unfaithful wife? Has she no compassion for the poor and middle class? In short, how can you be so sure of her inner feelings toward people on a personal as well as social level?

If no one is coercing you, then you have made a free choice to live in a country where Couldn’t you find an education in one of those four countries?
Well, I did go to school in France, Zuerich, and Rome, but a school here made me an offer too good to refuse. And, you’re not supposed to be inquiring into my life. It’s off-topic and against forum rules.

You know, I can post from anywhere in the world. I have posted from France before. I even found an Internet cafe in Agadez, Niger, much to my own surprise. The US doesn’t have a monopoly on Internet connections.

The words “I am pro-life” were music to my ears. Trust? I’m going to go for it because of his honest approach to the trouble we are in and the fact that he doesn’t owe “bought and paid for” positions. Those who think he is too rude and crude and belong to the backroom establishment have only their selfish interests at heart. Trump has had the experience of getting up close and knowing these backroom actors. He may not have the same depth of zeal to rid abortion in every matter, but its a big step forward. I can go with it. The party of death isn’t even up for consideration.

Other matters of honesty, integrity, patriotism, determination to make America great again! Who has a problem with that when we know what a mess we are going through?
Trump is not truly prolife.

His moral compass sways in the breeze.

He will do nothing for life.

He will do nothing for marriage.

He will do nothing for the core family.

This nation continues to vote against the issues that really matter, and yet we collectively wonder why we are in such a mess.

Not really. I chose to be educated, in part, here. I fully intend to move back to Europe as soon as I can secure a teaching position there, or if I cannot, I’ll just up my PR business full time instead of part time.
I’ve been a hospice volunteer all my grown life - so far. Please don’t make assumptions about what I know and what I don’t know and what I think. Thank you.

He wants to change the GOP platform to allow abortion in cases of rape and incest.

He wants to allow people with male anatomy into women’s bathrooms.

And as for marriage… He lives with one “wife” while another is still alive.

I have yet to see anything suggesting that he has any moral convictions whatsoever. As far as I can tell, he’ll say anything he thinks will play to the crowd. And now his people are telling the RNC he really doesn’t mean any of his previous bluster. It’s all just a show, they say.

I personally believe that he would have run in whatever party he thought it would be easiest to market his shtick.

I have no idea what kind of mother she was or grandmother she is. None. Nor do I have any idea whether she has or has not been a faithful wife. Nor do I know whether her cookies are tasty or not.

But in truth, MB, I don’t think she has anything remotely approaching normal human compassion. I really didn’t give it a lot of thought until I saw three things. First, her mocking the torture-death and sodomizing of Khaddaffi and then laughing about it; worse, doing it on film. I am no diagnostician, but it’s well known that sociopaths frequently don’t realize it when they demonstrate what most would consider serious heartlessness, because they don’t have normal reactions to it themselves. Second, her unequivocal praise for Planned Parenthood immediately after the baby parts selling revelation. Third, her recent unequivocal endorsement of partial birth abortion; something even the normally pro-abortion Anthony Kennedy couldn’t stomach.

I did think she was very odd in showing no normal reaction to her husband’s infidelities and humiliation of her, but okay, she had political ambitions and perhaps squelched those feelings. I did think her a termagant when people close to her sometimes disclosed how vile she could become when angered. But there are lots of those kinds.

But now it seems something else, and worse. There is something dead and cold inside the woman, Meltzerboy, and as I said, I think it is foolish for anyone to imagine that she cares a thing about their well being.

Is she worse than Obama? Yes, I think so. Obama’s admitted laziness and his obvious luxuriating in the perks of office without seeming to be really engaged in the business of government are, to me, redeeming features for him. I do think he is a far-left ideologue at heart, but without having the “fire in the belly” to personally carry out its implementation. That’s redeeming, and it’s human.

And I have never had any reason to believe Obama has ever sold his office for money, other than in support of something in which he really believed or felt his ideology compelled him to believe, not uncommon in politicians.

Two other wives are alive - Ivana and Marla. Melania is his third wife, and probably not his last. Of course, you may not be counting Marla, since Ivana was still alive. I suppose we do have to give him the fact that his church does not offer a church annulment.

Try being “lazy” like Obama for a day! LOL He’s just very low-key. I appreciate that in him. I can’t stand drama. Trump obviously does not share that quality.

Not really a good comparison. The justices in Roe had to invent a “penumbra” to find the right to abortion, meaning, of course, that it isn’t there in words. And it isn’t.

On the other hand “the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be abridged,” might be explained away by some strained interpretation, but it’s right there in black and white. It was not without a textual foundation like the “right to abortion” was.
Yes, those that support one decision find the other to be a stretch or simply wrong. That is true on both sides of the aisle.

You and others have said what you’re involved in. I don’t make assumptions about people I do know let alone those I don’t. And, I’ve been involved in it myself. I’ve seen it up close.
You made assumptions about a whole movement which consists of individuals.

==> No, he wants exceptions for incest, rape, and the life of the mother. The LOTM exception is a catch all. That equals pro-abortion.

He wants to allow people with male anatomy into women’s bathrooms.

==> True.

And as for marriage… He lives with one “wife” while another is still alive.

Love to.

I could read Valerie Jarrett’s condensed version of the condensed version of the laundered version of the daily security briefing, initial her suggestions, play golf, then have a pizza flown in from St. Louis on Air Force One, then more golf with a movie superstar. Read the latest offer for my memoirs after I leave office, tot up the income on the resulting income. Then exchange pleasantries at dinner with some diplomats over a wagyu steak washed down with Chateau Petrus, to be followed by fresh figs from the Dalmatian coast and a thin slice of Sachertorte mit schlag just flown in from Vienna (the schlag from here, though, it goes limp even on the fastest plane from Vienna) accompanied by a glass of Chateau d’Yquem.

Then Napoleon brandy and a Cohiba fresh from Havana with a select few, and the end of a perfectly wonderful evening.

Then a last cigarette of the day and to bed. Not a bad life.

If he does become the Republican nominee, I hope he comes up against a wall of resistance to get the platform to change on the issue of those exceptions. Mitt Romney supported exceptions in the case of abortion but did he ever talk of wanting the platform to change? The Republican platform that came out in 2012 was very good on life issues, not only abortion, but euthanasia, embryonic stem cell research funding etc.

I seriously doubt she had no response to Bill’s infidelities. That said, I would never publicize my response if my husband (God forbid) ever strayed – especially not if I had the world watching me.

Honestly, I’m not sure how many “the worst” presidents, Republicans think they can have. Pick one and stick with it. Immoral, no conscience Hillary… Lazy, shiftless Obama… The characterizations are laughable.

I didn’t say Obama is “shiftless”. He is the one who characterized himself as “lazy”. Said it’s his worst flaw. Maybe he lied about that, otherwise it’s not so laughable.

Nobody could possibly think of Hillary Clinton’s support of partial birth abortion and unqualified approval of Planned Parenthood without concluding that such advocacies are “immoral”. What would you call them?

I take it you have seen her “we came, we saw, Khaddaffi died”, followed by her laugh, and think it’s just a normal reaction by an empathetic person. If so, well…

Kind of amusing how liberals feel free to call Trump every terrible thing in their lexicon, and yet flame when somebody calls out the obvious in Hillary and what Obama himself says about himself.

Actually, I’m chuckling rather than “flaming” (which has a very different meaning in my world). As Homer Simpson once said, “They can’t ALL be the worst thing I’ve ever done.”

If you put McCain and George W side by side, I’d say there’s a clear winner – unlike when Republicans put Hillary and Obama next to one another, apparently. Trump isn’t a real Republican. I’d say that makes him fair game for everyone. Frankly, if I were Republican, my concerns about him would be far graver than they currently are.
