1] Pro-Life

2] Least of the war mongers

3] Leader and fighter.

4] Excellent negotiator [negotiate 'before" war mongering]

🤷
I think you missed some…

-Calls for protesters to be attacked
-Calls for the killing of innocent children
-Praises Planned Parenthood (which negates reason 1)

IMHO, those last 3 completely outweigh those other reasons

Out of curiosity, what does ā€œthey do wonderful thingsā€ mean? Is that not praise? If not, what do you count as praise? I often tell my daughter that her picture she painted is ā€œwonderfulā€. Is that not praising her painting?
Of course it’s praise.

I think Putin is laughing about it in private.
Senator Jeff Sessions would probably disagree. He has a lot of foreign policy experience.

Mine is just a humanistic point of view. No one can watch that video without laughing, don’t you think?

In news that should surprise no one:
The prospect of Donald Trump winning the race to the White House has joined China’s slowing economy, the Greek debt crisis and Britain’s EU referendum as a major threat to the global economy, according to a respected risk analysis firm.
The Economist Intelligence Unit said the Republican frontrunner could prove a dangerous world leader, damaging global trade, stirring up trouble with Beijing and adding to instability in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, Trump’s candidacy is already a national threat, especially to people who are part of the marginalized populations targeted by his inflammatory rhetoric. Between his demonization of immigrants and Muslims, and his empowerment of white supremacists, and the violence at his rallies, we’re already getting a snapshot of what life in the US would look like under a Trump presidency.

And that’s before he’s even got his hands on the reins of power. The amount of damage this guy could do from the Oval Office is inconceivable.

I would agree that economically since he has the backward mentality and discredited ideas of a Juan Peron he could do a lot of damage to our economy and the world economy. I don’t think he would target marginalized racial and ethnic minorities, particularly. Also he would be fairly isolated politically (as Jesse Ventura was when governor of Minnesota) so that would probably limit what he could do once in power.

Allegedly large anti-Trump protests from groups with a history of violence scheduled for this Saturday in NYC and Phoenix. According to Facebook pages 4600 signed up for NYC and 2700 for Phoenix. If there’s violence I’m already predicting what’s totally obvious by now. The usual suspects will blame it on Trump.

Charles Evers endorsed Trump, Evers is the brother of civil rights icon Medgar Evers, Ben Carson endorsed Trump as well.

But the RNC is a private organization. That’s what people don’t get. We the people have no more of a right to pick the RNC’s nominee than we do to pick the president of the YMCA.
That could equally be claimed about the Democratic Party.

Nobody has ever gone after Hillary like Trump has?
This is one of the big questions I have about Trump/Clinton. Sometimes what I hear from Trump supporters is ā€œTrump will hurt Clinton like nothing you’ve seen yet from him or anyone elseā€ but other times they’re more like ā€œJust look at what Trump has said about Clinton already and expect more of the same.ā€ (Those are not direct quotes.)

God help us if Trump manages to get elected. I’ve seen some of his rallies. They are disgusting and terrifying. He incites violence (whether or not he does so intentionally is up for debate, but none can deny that his rallies are not the safest place to be) and his supporters appear to be mostly low-income, under-educated white men (not all of them; I know some of his supporters don’t meet that criteria).

I think his election would be a massive step backwards for the country and will deal the finishing blow to a Republican Party that is already crumbling thanks to his surge in support.

Well said. šŸ‘

I admit that Trump plays on my id/ego and for that reason I will probably end up voting for him if the choice is between him and Hillary.
Kasich…on the other hand demands we walk the higher road even at the risk of losing it all to Hillary.

Somewhere along the way you’ll have to make peace witht it all.

So based on how you lay it out here, what would Jesus do? Vote Trump or Kasich? Rhetorical question. And by that I mean I assume the answer is transparent, self-evident.

But again we cannot push Kasich up as GOP nominee - suicide. Let the Trump train roll on, avoid a catastrophic war at the nomination. Take our shovel and pail and move on civilly and with dignity. Do not do anything we’ll regret; don’t sink to Trump’s level. Not even the election is worth that.
