:doh2:

Here is my question: why are Newt Gingrich and Ann Coulter surprised or for that matter uncomfortable about it? I honestly don’t get it. What did they think Trump was about? Trump has been amazingly, gut-wrenchingly consistent - I give him that. I think the rose-colored glasses have slipped off and it’s time to do a little damage, reputation control.
I am actually very surprised that Ann Coulter said that. She’s been a huge, tremendous, supporter of Trump. He’s based a lot of his platform on her last book.

Right - she is disassociating herself with the attack on Heidi Cruz. Understandable, as it is really base, horrible stuff. Hey, when Ann Coulter is our voice of reason…it’s time to take stock and re-evaluate…:o I think Chris Christie is likely hiding out in a hut on Sandy Beach, sun glasses, very big floppy hat.

But the thing is, how much were the rose colored glasses exaggerated by the media? Like I say, the media makes it sound like Trump didn’t lose supporters when in fact he did,
Here’s something that nobody seems to talk about: when talking about “Teflon Don” the media will say things like "Trump didn’t lose supporters after ______ " but in actual fact he ***did ***lose supporters. It’s just that he gained as many (if not more) supporters than he lost.

Now I realize somebody could say “Well that’s just as good as not losing any supporters.” But, even if you think that, shouldn’t the media still report it accurately?

The Melania ad circulated for the electorate was nothing, had nothing to do with cruz. But one single retweet of Heidi is an incomprehensible attack?

I said it was my guess. Calm down.
It was such an imaginative guess that you were already reaching into your pocket to donate for her legal fees, making the story as real as Michelle fields being assaulted by Cory.

I guess exaggeration is only allowed when it’s used for ones own purpose.

You are guessing trump’s suing her?

You are saying that like it’s a fact, and then Lily picks up on your pseudo fact and takes it further, claiming it shows how business practices don’t translate into politics, all the while when we don’t even know if Trump has sued her. In fact I did a search there is no indication whatsoever Trump has sued her.

See how lies are being created here?
John Kasich, who’s been in politics and business, said business doesn’t translate into politics. I didn’t say it, I reported what Kasich said. Please don’t attribute things to me I didn’t originally say as if I originally said them. Thanks.

Has a campaign manager ever been charged with assault on a reporter before? I mean, in America.

I have nothing against what you quoted or said.

One thing I’ve noticed is that when Mr. Trump says something outrageous or outlandish, he often follows it up by saying “Believe me” as sort of his quasi exclamation point.

So when Mr. Trump says “Believe me” I get the feeling that even he doesn’t believe what he’s saying.

Many of us don’t, though.

I don’t want to overspiritualize or anything, but I think the nature of the discourse here has changed somewhat, compared with how it was pre-Easter. We’re not wrapped around Trump’s finger – and I won’t complain about that. 🙂

The paying legal fees part was a reference to Trump’s comment about paying legal fees for the person at his rally who roughed up a protester.

I don’t know - it will be interesting if he stays in employment. Cruz fired his campaign manager over circulating a smear story on Rubio, remember? Different strokes for different folks.

breitbart.com/big-journalism/2016/03/29/secret-service-says-michelle-fields-touched-trump-before-lewandowski-intervened/

Donald Trump asks on his Twitter account whether he can “press charges” against Michelle Fields, as David Martosko of the Daily Mail prints purported quotes from an anonymous Secret Service agent in Trump’s security detail — claiming Fields was warned she was too close to the billionaire presidential candidate.

** a member of Trump’s Secret Service detail told DailyMail.com on Tuesday that Fields touched Trump twice – and was warned by agents to stop – before Lewandowski pulled her away.**

‘She crossed in between agents and our protectee after being told not to,’ said the agent, who was present that night in Jupiter.

Gee, how about that?👍

Charges of simple battery have been filed against Trump’s campaign manager with regard to Michelle Fields.

I can’t stand Trump, and even I think this whole thing is silly. In a huge crowd, people are going to “touch” other people.

Trump needs to concentrate on the American people, not on lawsuits. And Fields, I just have no words.
