I’m surprised that you veer towards Kasich, who I as a European could actually see myself voting for, yet would ultimately back Trump when it comes down too it and seem to be defending his views on these threads, when he would be so far from the mainstream throughout most countries over here in this continent as to be unelectable.Kasich would be my choice, though he doesn’t have “rock star” appeal that seems to be the real qualification for most voters nowadays.
I just don’t get how anyone could see those two men as sharing more than a modicum in common.
There are more than a few high-profile GOP politicians who are currently stating that they will NOT back Trump. Some are even saying they will vote for Hillary just to stop him.
Over here in Britain, many Conservative MPs have stated would support Clinton in a Trump-Clinton standoff despite the Tories traditionally being the sister party of the GOP (you know Maggie and her best bud Ronald).
