you do know that criticizing parts of the media that make up the free press does not mean the free press as a whole was criticized or called enemy of the people.

There are only two reason to say Trump called the entire free press enemy of the people, ignorance of what was actually said or lying about the facts.

What’s really frightening is those sodeeply entrenched in their hatred of Trump would rather cut off their noses to spite themselves, disregarding the good things being done for everyone not just republicans. So sad and pathetic
What’s more sad and pathetic is that Trump’s followers refuse to allow anyone to disagree with anything he says or does without calling it “hatred.” Not only do they think he’s above the law, they think he’s above any disagreement or criticism.
That’s scary.
There are many on this thread and on this forum who have said Trump is not perfect. That he is a sinner. That they voted for him only because the alternative was worse.

You do know that he routinely calls CNN and the New York Times “Fake News”, don’t you? They are members of the free press.
Yes, they are members of the free press, and can continue to spread fake news as long as people are gullible.
And the left call Fox News “Faux News.”

Wow.

You do know that he routinely calls CNN and the New York Times “Fake News”, don’t you? They are members of the free press.
And Obama tried to bar Fox News from news conferences.

I am neither ignorant nor lying. But nice try.

The splitting of hairs is typical of Trump supporters. When faced with something Trump has said numerous times, you make it sound like the he wasn’t talking about what, in fact, he was talking about.

As am I but I identify as a conservative. Something the Republican Party is a mere shadow of anymore Again whycTrump was the favored party candidate

. Obama, as far as we know, never said a similar thing, but then, Trump didn’t enable ISIS to kill thousands of people, like Obama did, either. As between the two, I’m less appalled at the vulgar statement.
Just quoting a brief part of this post.

Folks, this ISIS was real, real BIG trouble in the Middle East, they really are and I shouldn’t limit it to the ME,

They’ve attacked in England, France, Sri Lanka, Germany, Philippines and I’d have to say here too in the US. Afghanistan.

ISIS was and remains a great evil but they are definitely on their backheel. Terror as a force is pretty scary and they are ruthless.

Did one know, the Christians in the ME, though, always assuredly persecuted, were probably better off under Saddam, one can argue if we should have gone into Iraq, that is not 15 years ago, so just the invasion wasn’t bad enough, then, one the country was pacified largely, we withdrew troops in 2011.

This is all beyond terrible and we can not create messes and then, let them just lie there.

Trump got out of the way, let the military do their job and of course, we have our great allies, the SDF with Kurds and Christians and others.

Plenty of Westerners have volunteered to fight with the Kurdish troops, some have died, they certainly have from the US, UK, Australia and I believe other comments.

This was a festering problem that needed to be dealt with. I’m sorry, Trump said something in a private conversation back in 2005, 2007? just doesn’t cut it with me.

He was the better of the two candidates, by far, but both stunk. That’s why I stayed home instead of voting.

they will promote abortion
Abortion in the US peaked under Reagan and Bush I. It fell under Clinton, Bush II, Obama, and probably continues to fall under Trump. It is likely now, in numbers and in rate, to be lower than it was just before roe v. Wade. You may think that abortion is being promoted, but the facts say otherwise.

And I can understand that. It’s the attitude that no one is allowed to disagree or criticize that is ridiculous. Disagreement is not “hatred.” Criticism is not “hatred.” This isn’t North Korea, where you don’t dare say anything about “Dear Leader.” Thank God.

Certainly not due to Clinton’s policies. Abortion rates are falling because the pro-life prayer warriors have set up many programs to help women in crisis pregnancies. And they have exposed the barbarity of abortion.

I was responding to Paul, regarding the use of “enemy of the people”.

How about these:
  1. he has done nothing to balance the budget by cutting spending not related to the enumerated powers.
  2. he has permitted the continued existence of the Department of Education
  3. he hasn’t secured to southern border by redeploying troops there from Places unneeded since the Democrats won’t approve funding for a wall.
A good start?

A good start at being completely unrelated to my post, yes.
