I take the passage to mean that the one who trusts people with their salvation is wrong. Of course we should trust God first and foremost. He is Creator, Savior and Sanctifier.
What I’m asking you, and I’m sorry to make you have to answer again but I’m trying to understand, but what I’m asking you is this: do you believe it’s wrong to trust other people to be honest, caring, merciful and generally well meaning?
You are trying to be the best Christian you can be and let it show in the fruit you bear. Do you trust others to do the same?
